Dr. Kristen Rezak, MD

I had the diep flap surgery. Dr Rezak was so busy and I felt like she spent more time teaching her students than she did me. I went into this surgery after a lot of research but they did things differently and expected me to know everything. I was in the dark really. Casandra Robertson, her assistant talked so ugly to me that i cried. To this day I don’t know why. She also gave my husband a snotty look when he said how amazing our bodies are to heal over this. She also didn’t do her job as far as communicating with me. We will never use Duke or Casssy again. I will never go to Duke again

Dr. Rezak understood my concerns, took the necessary time to discuss everything about my surgery with me, and gave excellent care in post op visits. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone.

Dr. Rezak possesses extraordinary technical skills, a willingness to listen and an exceptional clinic and bedside manner. These skills inspire confidence and calm in her patients and their loved ones. It is evident she models and expects her team members to provide for the same level of patient care and they deliver. She is who to see for breast reconstruction in NC and the entire south east. We are fortunate to have her in North Carolina.
