Will never return
Very dismissive. Did not feel cared for and was brushed off the second she came in the room. I begged for a certain test even though she made me feel it wasn't needed. It came back positive. She offered no follow up care besides strong antibiotics I have a history of reacting to. Disappointing since she was highly recommended.

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I had a visit for a routine pap and other various concerns, such as an ovarian cyst (not diagnosed by her) and extremely heavy periods. According to Dr Egner, these were all “normal” and all concerns I had were brushed off. I made her aware immediately that I tend to get sick during paps. A medical student was observing and I was asked if the student could preform the pap. I said no, but they were free to observe. She was annoyed by this. I was prescribed birth control, which caused me to bleed for over 30 days. I called the office numerous times to see if I should come in and was told she was on vacation, she would call me back, etc for weeks. The nurse manager made me appointment with Colette, the PA. She was very apologetic and was the ONLY person to call me back or speak with me. This doctor never ONCE returned my calls. Over all, a very cold, patronizing doctor with ZERO bedside manner and no care about her patients.

Terrible Doctor
I do not even know how this woman is an obgyn. She was dismissive of me and had absolutely zero knowledge of my condition that affects 1 out of 6 people, yet she tried to make me feel like she has never seen anyone with this condition! She acted as if I was insane for my symptoms. She should be ashamed of herself for making me feel worse about my situation.

Painful and Shaming Visit
I went to Dr. Egner because I was having issues with PCOS. Dr. Egner barely wanted to touch me instead she went through my chart, and started shaming me for a past surgery I had and was so judgmental and arrogant. This terrible experience made me never want to go back to her ever again. Horrible and insensitive doctor please avoid her practice she is toxic.

I went to Dr. Egner in May 2021 and she discovered I had pre-cancerous cells in my uterus. I went through a colposcopy at a different doctor's office a couple of months later, and after that I was asked if I want to schedule an appointment with her after 6 months. Thinking this is the right way to go, I scheduled the appointment and yesterday I went to see her. When she entered the room, she immediately shamed me for coming over and said she is not the one who's supposed to check me up after the surgery and asked me why I made the appointment with her. I said I was asked 6 months ago if I want to do a check up and I said yes. She went on and shamed me about it and made me feel so stupid for being there. After she finished her shaming session, she just left the room without saying a thing. I went to her last year despite all the bad reviews I read about her because I wanted to give it a chance and see how it goes. Well, she is the most obnoxious, condescending and arrogant doctor I've

My mother was a patient in the Northwell Health Group, Commack location. Her last visit was last year when she went to see her gynecologist. When she arrived, she was told her current doctor was retiring with only a few days left. They put her with his replacement, Dr. Kristi Egner. My mother was not in for a routine checkup. She had breast cancer 7 years prior and has been taking Tamoxifen per her doctor's instructions. Dr. Egner ordered a sonogram and diagnosed her with a bacterial infection. My mother was concerned and felt things were rushed and not thorough. The past few weeks, she has been experiencing similar symptoms. I sent her to my gynecologist who has always been overly thorough and very informative. She saw her yesterday. They did a biopsy and found uterine cancer. My words for Dr Egner: if you have a patient who is on a medication that increases the risk of cancer, do every test to ensure her symptoms are not caused by cancer.

Idk why there are so many bad reviews for dr Egner... I’ve been going to her for 5 years and she’s the best gyno I’ve ever gone to. She gets me in when I need, and whenever I have a “lady issue” she’s so quick to answer and help. I NEVER feel judged when I go to her office idk how someone could write that. I recommend her to everyone

I had my annual appointment scheduled for 11:15 today. I signed in at 11:05. At 12: 30 I reminded the desk I was still waiting. At 12:40 I left. I never got to see the dr. To make matters worse it seemed to me that other patients with appointments scheduled after mine were called in before me. I left ANGRY and totally FRUSTRATED. Is it reasonable for a patient to wait 1hr. 40min. without an explanation?

I would not recommend Dr Egner. She does not care about personal concerns and makes you feel judged when you ask questions. Every time I saw her I felt completely rushed and like she was not even listening to me. She made me feel like I needed to have unnecessary STD testing everytime I went in for my yearly exam even though I was with the same partner for years with no concerns. My health insurance was double billed for an appointment and emergency once. I’d rather see no doctor than her.

Painful Exam! Rushed! Dr. Kristi Egner has a very condescending personality. She discredits all of your concerns and symptoms. What bothered me the most was her poor bedside manner. She talks down to her patients and talks over them. She does not listen. She has this "I'm right and your wrong" type of attitude and she carries herself as if she was/is above everyone else. She even will talk poorly of other physicians. She is very arrogant and not compassionate at all.

I read some of the reviews and had concerns but I was very happy with my visit. I felt she was very good and spent plenty of time with me. The only thing I wasn’t pleased with was getting the results of a test. The nurse called and did not explain the results well and than the doc didn’t call back for days. They also never sent my postcard with the results of my pap. But besides that, I felt the doctor was very nice and thorough.

Horrible experience with this office. I was not properly checked for a common condition that resulted in having unnecessary imaging done. She was insulted when I needed more clarification and completely indifferent to my concerns.

Dr. Egner is a mediocre doctor. She does not show passion or interest in patients or her specialty. Appointments are difficult to get due to her lack of planning of her vacation time and days off. Her staff will not keep track of yearly/ six month visits. I have gone to her 4 times thinking that I must've just had a bad experience I'll give her another try, on my fourth visit I was very displeased with her staff and Dr. Egner. Its a shame I won't return she means well but just wants your money.

I saw Dr. Egner for the first time for a routine annual exam. She was very pleasant, explained quite clearly about my exam, and I felt very comfortable with her. Also she did the test quickly and thorough and I never felt a thing. That counts a lot too. I was most impressed with the staff as well I really thought they were very professional and all were nice. I have no complaints.

Dr. Egner delivered my baby, not as caring as my main Obgyn however she was the one on call that day. I almost delivered the baby at home as she kept telling my husband that I was not in labor. Finally when I did go to the hospital all the staff could not believe that I was already 8 cm and would give me no pain meds. Upon arrival, Dr. Egner gave me an UNANNOUNCED episiotomy in which I received a 3rd degree laceration no communication. She just cut me and did not ask or say that she was going to
