Giving a 1 star review is still too many stars. Dr. James was extremely dismissive and rude. She referred to a severe qt prolongation on my ekg as being "not real", even though 2 other doctors looked at it the same night. She tried to pin everything on "anxiety" but I was having qt prolongation and high heat rates in the 138s from covid. She wouldn't let me see a different provider even after she became visibility upset when I mentioned she was being dismissive and wasn't looking into my medical history, and that I wasn't comfortable with her being my doctor. This doctor intentionally escalated things instead of attempting to de-escalate. See another doctor if you can. Any other doctor. There can't be many doctors that are capable of being even worse than Dr. Kristin James.

DIAGNOSED MY HUSBAND WITH THE FLU AND PNEUMONIA..GAVE HIM A BREATHING TREATMENT...WROTE A SCRIPT FOR ANTI BIOTIC...AND SENT US HOME..NO ADMITTING HIM SO HE COULD GET TREATMENT TO GET WELL...

After seeing this woman after being sick, I stopped smoking, stop eating carbs (fast food), and my whole entire life turned around. I started yoga. But wait. None of this was my idea. It was all Kristin James, DO. She saved my life and I think about her every single day. This is why I am now a regular at north Knoxville medical center ER. I'm living my best life and it's all thanks to Dr. James!

I took my 12 year old son to emergency room for a cut on his leg. Kristin James put 3 stitches in his leg. I couldn't tell what it looked like until the next day when I was changing the bandage. I then noticed that both outside edges needed another stitch. A surgical tech friend confirmed my thought and put medical adhesive on these places. So, after the fact that this "doctor" didn't not put enough stitches to correctly close my son's wound, I then get a bill from her for $1740.00. RIDICULOUS!
