Dr. Kristin Masukawa, MD

Dr. Masukawa is the best doctor you could ever have. She is so understanding and walks you through everything. She makes me feel so comfortable and able to talk a lot and makes me feel heard and appreciated. She is HANDS DOWN the BEST doctor I have ever encountered and she has to be up there with the best of the best. She is also very knowledgable is that helps, too.

My wife and I couldn’t be happier with Dr Masukawa. She’s always available and thorough, very professional and competent. Overall nice to interact with and get advice from. Highly recommended!

The team was excellent. Everyone was very professional and kind. I really like Dr. Masukawa. My only recommendation for her is I was there for a physical and she didn't listen to my heart or my chest or anything like that. It was just more of a like talking appointment. So it didn't really feel like a physical in any way. So I'm not sure if that's how things are now done where there's no touching of the patient, but it didn't feel like a medical appointment necessarily. It was more just a dialogue. But again, everything else was fantastic. Thank you.

dr. masukawa is thorough, knowledgeable about my condition, professional, caring, and a real sweetheart. the only problem is that uci has too few nephrologists, and if i keep my present appointment in august, i will have not been seen by a kidney specialist in a year---and i am trying to function on only one-half of a compromised kidney now.

Dr. Masukawa was very patient and incredibly thorough. I never felt that she was rushed with me. The office staff was very professional. The office was very clean and I appreciated the fact that I didn't have to wait a long time to see the doctor either for the appointment or once I arrived there in the lobby. Everything went great and I've already referred her to two friends.
