Dr. Kristin Morvant, MD

Dr Morvant comes off very condescending when speaking to you as a patient. If you have questions about anything she has addressed she becomes defensive and rude. I’ve heard her speaking ill of patients while waiting to be seen which is alarming and concerning as a patient. My family is searching for a new doctor to get away from her and I feel anyone would be better than this doctor.

She is thorough, easy to talk to, listens to any questions you may have. Does not rush the visit and explains everything. My daughters and granddaughters also see her per my reference and love her. She is the best I would follow her wherever she went.

If you are looking for bedside manner or compassion, keep looking.

I immediately liked her. She was pleasant and easy to talk to. She was professional and knowledgeable of my medical needs. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Morvant has been my PCP for over 3 years now and she has always been attentive to my concerns. During the height of the pandemic we had visual visits and she (in my opinion) been one of the best doctors I've had. She take the time to read other doctors message regarding me and offer alternatives for a better lifestyle. Her staff is equally effective and I think it comes from her ability to doctor and to lead.

Dr Morvant very sweet love her personality. She took her time with my daughter very attentive she listened and gave good advice. She has a love for not only her job but for people my daughter felt so comfortable with her. Everyone has excellent nurse scheduler front desk. I give them two thumbs up ?? hugs kisses and five stars ??

Dr. Morvant is awesome! She has been my PCP for years. I never feel rushed or that she doesn't care. She is a very good listener, letting you explain your symptoms in detail. She then asks follow-up questions to help narrow things down. She goes over your diagnosis and treatment details so you understand where things go from here. Lots of eye contact, pleasant demeanor, and great attitude. She is an A+ doctor if there every was one.

On a scale of 1 - 5, I give Dr. Morvant a 10. She is professional, efficient, caring, and kind. I am so fortunate she is my doctor!

I am a medical professional as well. Searching for a new PCP is how I came across her as she is a QBPC with BCBSLA. Immediately after entering the room she made no eye contact. Gave the computer screen more time than myself. Performed the quickest assessment I’ve ever seen. She has absolutely no “bedside manner” and no compassion at all. Maybe there’s a preference as I’ve seen the good reviews she has. I however will not be returning to her. Heartless and hurried.

Dr Morvant is very genuine. She listens and talks to you, not at you. I feel that she cares about how well I am doing and tries to make sure that I do the best things to have a healthy life.

Awesome! Awesome! Dr. Morvant is kind and pleasant! I love the fact she talks with you, not at you. She is truly a patient advocate. She takes her time explaining your health to you, listening to your health care concerns, and don't stop until your problem is resolved. I trust her and have full confidence in her. Whenever I need medication refills or have any questions her nurses will take care of it immediately. I love Dr. Morvant and will forever be her patient. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Morvant has been my Primary Care physician for several years. She's thorough, keeps things easy to understand, and has made a connection with me as a patient and a person. Dr. Morvant is very responsive through the MyOchsner app, and I have full trust her clinical decision making.

I was a patient for Dr. Morvant for a few years when I initially moved to Baton Rouge. Every time I walked out of her office, I felt even worse than when I walked in. I have never felt like I had a doctor who took very little value in listening to her patients and oozed with condescending mannerisms. Since finding a new PCP and not under the care of Dr. Morvant, I enjoy talking and being heard with my doctors. I definitely do not recommend this doctor.

Her nurses will not return phone calls and are rarely available. When you do get a hold of them, they are no help. My medication was not called into the pharmacy, and to get an answer as to why took over a week and tons of calls. I was finally informed that I am supposed to see her again in order to renew the prescription; no one notified me of this sooner. Now, I've had to get off Zoloft cold turkey because I ran out of pills and was not notified in time. I am experiencing awful side effects.

Phone calls were not returned. Medicines not called in to pharmacy.
