Great Doctor!
Dr. Stranigan is a very good doctor. She really knows her stuff. She is very personal and takes the time to listen to what you have to say. She is also a good surgeon.

Foot reconstruction 2020
I found Dr Stranigan a pure delight. My surgery went exactly as she said it would. It was the most painful surgery I have had and it was a long healing time just as she explained it would be. I believe she is a big asset to our area. Anytime you visit a dr it helps to have questions prepared ahead of time, I did and she was patient and kind. 4 years later I am pleased.

Run from this provider
She couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my foot fused some bones together exactly a year later I had to have th hardware removed once I had it removed a week later I was having issues with my other foot they wouldn’t even look at it just said well it isn’t because you had surgery on your other foot. Went for care in monroeville and my enter foot had collapsed. Strannigan was. To much of a joke and wouldn’t look at it but clearly something was wrong

NOT a HAPPY camper
I had the planter Fasciitis procedure n some kind of tendonitis with my calf surgery. I was told that in 2 days I wouldn't even need my crutches. Well I had at least 1 crutch for 11 days n walked very gingerly after that. Felt like I was walking on glass with an infected cut. The day after my surgery I was bleeding and had dried blood all around my incision. I was concerned with infection from that. I called the office n the answering service wasn't able to ever reach the on call doc for 2 days. She said other patients were also trying to reach him which was Dr Vena. That issue wasn't Dr Strannigans fault but I did address it with the manager Terri. After I had my stitches removed I didn't feel that sharp pain on my foot so I'm thinking the stitches were too short and one end reversed into the actual opening from the surgery. Having something poking into your fresh wound isn't a good feeling. I have had stitches (6) without the novocaine shot and even that didn't hurt nearly as bad as

I went to see Dr. Strannigan on Monday and she was quick and rude. She didn’t even notice I was placed in a boot too big!! I came in with a broken foot and fractured ankle, when she did look at my foot it was to wrap it in a ace bandage that fell off as she left the room! I have never broken a bone before and if I were to ever again or know anyone who does I will NEVER recommend them to this place or this Doctor. I was told at 9am she wasn’t in office until later in the afternoon, called 12:30, STILL wasn’t in. When I finally called at 2:45 they said “you can come in she’s here now” Never have I ever in my years of seeing doctors have I been treated so poorly and with bad judgment. I got a new boot yesterday from CSS in Windber that is now the correct one and my foot has gone down in two sizes already! Please either get a new profession or focus better on the one you have.
