Excellent Doctor
Dr. Katz was amazing! I’ve dealt with stomach issues for years and have been to many physicians. Thankfully she was able to properly diagnose my symptoms and put me long term plan to correct my issues. I just had my two months follow up and I’ve made so much progress towards feeling 100% thanks to Dr. Katz.

I would never recommend Dr. Katz to my family and friends. She didn't listen to my complaints. She refused to order blood works which recommended by the radiologist after a MRI suggested I have suspicious malignancy changes. I called my primary care doctor who order the tests. My final diagnose is cancer.

I had a pleasure to visit Dr. Katz for a routine check up as I turn 50 years old. Dr. Katz was extremely thorough and help me with all preparations before my colonoscopy. She answered all questions in great detail. The colonoscopy was a breeze. I would highly recommend Dr. Katz to all my family and friends.

I am very disappointed with the care I received. Dr. Katz ordered two lab tests that required pre certification from my insurance company. One of which, was to test if I had the cancer gene. There is absolutely no history of cancer in my family from either side of my family. I was told by her, I was getting routine lab work done. I would never have agreed to that test. I had no idea the labs ordered would not be covered by my insurance company. Her office failed to obtain the pre certification and I was charged for both tests. I tried emailing and sent a written letter regarding the test, but did not receive a response. I do not feel I should be responsible for the cost of a lab not discussed with me and for a lab her office failed to obtain the proper pre certification for.

I went to Dr. Katz because I was in terrible pain & I also shared with her I believe I have parasites. Dr. Katz & her team made me feel as if I was weird & basically told me to calm down. She did order some testing, but never took the time to call me w/the results.I had to call & speak with her nurse multiple times who is very rude.Long story short,Dr. Katz did not put any energy into figuring out what was wrong with me&made me very self concious about my suspicions of a parasite.Well,I did test positive for parasites, so she thought she was done and I never heard back from her about my other tests results.I ended up in the ER with unbearable pain. I of course changed my GI doctor/team because I have been suffering. They treat me with respect, are very thorough, and have been determined to find the source of my pain. Next week, my gallbladder is being removed because I have sludge&stones in it. She never even considered my gallbladder and that was my chief complaint area of pain.
