Dr. Kristine Powell, MD

We absolutely love Dr. Powell! She has been seeing our son since birth (2.5 years) with multiple ear infections, viruses, and other illnesses that happen with babies while they're building those immune systems. She has been nothing but sweet, attentive, available, and so helpful with everything we've seen her for. The office is so quick to get us in, normally same day...which is such a relief not only for my son but also me as a concerned parent. She is willing to give us recommendations or direction if we ask or seem uneasy but never judges us with any of the decisions we've made for our son. Which we normally have no idea if we're doing the right thing so it's nice to have reassurance that she's backing whatever decisions we make. We feel like our child is in the best care with Dr. Powell and highly recommend her to all!

Dr. Powell interacts great with her patients. She always talks to them and she does not ignore them, because they are children, by only talking to the parents. She is always intentional during each visit.

I loved how Dr Powell interacted with my 5 year old and explained some of the topics directly to her. After the visit it made for some interesting discussion on what we needed to do so that on our next visited 'we' won't disappoint the doctor. She totally empowered my daughter to take action.

Dr. Powell has been seeing my daughter since her birth. She is caring, quick, reachable, good listener and much more. We love to have her as our daughter's doctor.

We feel like Dr. Powell listens to us and we trust her. She has been especially accommodating getting our girls in when they’ve been sick. And our girls are genuinely excited to go see her, even when they are sick.

Awesome pediatrician, She’s very thorough and caring and always listens thank you Dr. Powell for taking care of my boys. She has the best nurse ever!!!

She's incredibly unfriendly for a pediatrician. Didn't even bother to ask my child's name when she first met him. Arrived 2 minutes late for an appointment and she refused to see us; rather, she referred us to the health department for my child's shots. My son also had an eye infection, which she knew about a week prior and knew he needed an antibiotic for it. Still wouldn't see us because we were 2 minutes late due to construction. I would avoid seeing any pediatrician at this office because if you don't like one, they won't switch you to another. We wanted to be switched after the first visit. I wish I hadn't stuck with her. Now I've got to take my child to the health department and an urgent care to get an antibiotic all because Kristine Powell is an unsympathetic and unreasonable pediatrician in it for the money only. The health department said she probably isn't getting paid fast enough from the state as my son is on disability and that this happens all the time to other patients.
