Dr. Kulmeet Kundlas, MD

Dr Kundlas Kulmeet S MD, is a horrible Doctor, he fired me as a patient and all of my family when I needed the most, I had a heart attack in the beginning of July 2024 got Sepsis and pneumonia took a nasty fall all in the same week and had a spinal fracture along with other complications, I lost 40 pounds in 3weeks had a another heart attack had a gastrointestinal emergency had to go to Orlando hospital were I almost died I reached out to his office after my fall before anything serious happened and told the nurse, I wanted to change primarys to (Dr Rodriguez Because he is a better Doctor) than Dr Kundlas.Dr Kulmeet S MD wronglydiagnosised early health problems with my heart. I had swelling in my leg and he blamed it on my weight with out even examining me turns out Dr that's what caused my first heart attack my D dimer was high and it was a clot know I continue to be sick with complications a waiting more testing and surgeries

Dr. Kundlas several times put incorrect information on my health summaries. I am obese and I believe he made assumptions based on that. He said I was hypertensive (I'm not), said I was an uncontrolled diabetic non compliant with diet and exercise ( my A1C went from 6.2 to 6.4 over the holidays). These are only two examples of many. When I asked him to correct these on my chart he said he would but all he did was stop giving me the summaries so I could no longer ask about what he was charting. He never examined me...no listening to heart or lungs, etc. Only shook my hand when he came in the room...for two years as his patient seeing him every 3 months. I tried to like him but he was awful and I found a new doctor.

It is always a pleasure going to Shield Medical Group. The staff are always kind and friendly when I come for a visit. Dr Kundlas is the best caring and compassionate doctor I have ever known. Always friendly, shakes my hand and looks at me when speaking. Thank you Dr K and staff! Keep up the great care you extend to your patients. :)

He is straight to the point, and very caring

I always leave satisfied when I visit my doctor. Dr. Kundlas has shown me that he cares for his patients.

I had to go to ER and didn't think to call Dr about why. His office called me to come in for follow-up to be sure I was taken care of.

I have Been seeing Dr Kundlas for over 3 years. He is always available to see or talk to, Staff Is always Very Helpful. Highly Recommended

All vitals were great. We discussed my arthritis problems along with the need for cataract surgery in my left eye. Dr. Kundlass was on top of things as usual and advised me on what to do next regarding my health needs.

I had the last appt of the day. I did not feel rushed just because it was time for him to go home. He stayed and took care of all of my questions.

Quick and accurate

I've been seeing this doctor for a few years now and from day 1, he has been treating me and maintaining my health issues and is so thorough and caring! He is by far, the best in his field, and most caring and sincere! The staff he has are very professional, knowledgeable and just pleasant! Most recently, I had a car accident...they called me! Fit me in the very same day , where I I was treated and he addressed my Shoulder and arm pain where I no longer have that pain like before! Words aren't mearly enough to convey how much I appreciate this Doctor nor, how much gratitude I have ! So yes, please visit this office and you too will get the VERY BEST CARE ! Love you ,Doc !

Dr. Kundlas is friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate and professional

He immediately puts the patient at ease and yet is very candid about everything. Excellent Doctor!!

There is generally a little wait, but nothing out of the ordinary. I take this to mean Dr Kundlas and his staff is giving the same care and attention they show me when I am in the room. The biggest downside is you have to follow up hard on referrals; not sure why this part takes so much effort. But it gets done.

The staff is very kind and the location is nice and clean. The first few visits, however, each appointment was very rushed and any concerns that I had were quickly brushed off. I figured on the first visit that the doctor was having a bad day, however, he made many comments about how I would never have anything to worry about on every visit and completed the appointment promptly without asking questions (under 5 minutes each time). He seemed nice, but I didn't feel he cared much about being my doctor. Considering that he does have a fairly good reputation, a different patient may find the appointments more pleasant if they meet a certain demographic. It would honestly be difficult for me to recommend him to my close friends or family, but I'm sure he is probably a great doctor for people with specific backgrounds. In summary, it's a clean office with a nice staff, but unfortunately, the quick dismissals make me unable to trust MY overall health in his care. Your mileage may vary.

Friendly staff and professional.

I went to the ER for sutures from an injury. I received a call from the doctors office a couple of days later to check on me. Ray called me and set up a tele-visit with the doctor. The doctor then ordered antibiotics and had me scheduled to see him in 10 days for suture removal, rather than the 7 stated by the ER. I am just very impressed with this group, and being a retired RN, I am very particular. Ray is very professional and accommodating. Dr. Kundlas is very thorough, while treating his patients respectfully. I just moved here from a very populated area, and haven't had this level of service in years.

Very pleasant doctors visit & professional staff. Dr. Kundlas listens to your concerns and gives you the time you deserve. Dr. Kundlas and his staff treat you with respect and compassion.
