She cancels appointments at the last minute
It is a problem for patients, she does not appreciate or realize the damage this can cause. You make all your preparations to attend and at the last minute she cancels our appointment.I wish she could put herself in other people's shoes.

She is not nearly as knowledgeable about genetics as she should be. She is also not very curious about what's going on with medical conditions and she doesn't explain test results (beyond the obvious basics) very well. I'd recommend finding someone else, TBH.

Incredibly Apathetic
Spent years of my life trying to work with this doctor, her apathetic nature is truly appalling and she does not care whatsoever about your health or outcome. She left me at a complete dead end health-wise, and truly, she could not care less about her patients’ wellbeing. Avoid her if at all possible.

Mitochondria problems?
I’ve been undiagnosed for 49 years with a progressive weird disease. My fat on my left side severely atrophies so I’ve had two Brazilian butt lifts on just the left butt cheek as well as reconstructive lid surgery all paid by insurance. I have 44 percent output in my complex 1 mitochondria and two of my four siblings are very ill. My muscles hurt w fatigue. I started out thinking I was getting poo-pooed again but this was just PTSD on my part. After 5 minutes, I was optimistic and hopeful. She is doing the right testing and seems to have a plan for further testing if the low hanging fruit doesn’t pan out. Considering I have whole exome with Genedx already as well as a Baylor fibroblast study, there isn’t much low hanging fruit left. She did identify I had no mitochondria gene analyses even with only 44 percent output in complex 1 from Baylor study. We will start there. Right now, I’m very pleased. From there, I’ll move to whole genome from my left side tissue and biopsy.

Wow, so I saw this physician in 2018 after waiting months, I made a special trip just to try and get clarity of a positive DNA test, she refused to do any testing regarding this positive test result, then I was lied to about test she would run being covered on my below poverty wage disability placed me on after the state never honored my judgement so I couldnt even pay rent and I never got results as I did not have $600 months later they tried to charge me, Im still very sick with zero concern for my positive tests showing I should probably be given immuboglobin therapy, but since noone will run proper tests Im now never going to get better and its 2021 and I get a weird call from this office trying to schedule me an appt. for Oct., I dont even live in FL anymore. You have to ask if this doctor is scamming the system, she didnt care at all Im left sick.
