I have never encountered a more unprofessional and disrespectful dentist in all of my years. I came in for an appointment today as a new patient with the expectation of getting X-rays and a dental cleaning. After the X-rays were completed, Dr. Kalantari came in to tell me that based on the X-rays, I needed a crown of my teeth. I told her that I was aware of that and that I planned on going to a specialized dentist for that procedure. She asked me what the dentist's name was that I was planning on going to. I didn't tell her the dentist's name, but told her that it was a specialized dentist in the area. She told me she couldn't perform a dental cleaning on me because it was against the law. But then told me that she doesn't perform dental services on any patient that chooses not to go to a specialist that she recommends. So, essentially, I was denied services because she wouldn't receive a kickback of money from referring me to a specialist that she has a financial agreement with.

Dr. Kay ran into quite a bit of difficulties with my crown and it was very stressful to me. However, she and her staff remained professional at each appointment and Dr. Kay took time to listen to my concerns. I appreciated her attitude and determination to make everything right. She has a great support staff, especially her assistant, Dee, who has an outstanding personality and she is very thorough and serious about her work. I am very impressed with Dr. Kay and her staff and I highly recommend

Awesome and Fantastic experience! I was very nervous and voiced my concerns. She and Dee, her wonderful, efficient and very friendly assistant listened to me (very important) and explained patiently (also equally important) what to expect. They both keep me calm and relaxed. The procedure went well and I did not experience any discomfort or had any problems afterward. I still need more work done.
