Please avoid if you have a history of skin cancer
The worst dermatology experience. As a young person (<25) with a recent history of metastatic skin cancer, I am in disbelief over the care I received. I recently moved to town and was looking to establish care with a derm to perform my routine skin checks. Dr. Horner did not ask me a single question about myself, nor was he aware of my history of melanoma (clearly did not look at my intake documents). HE DID NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE SITE OF MY MELANOMA SCAR. He performed a skin exam in about 3 minutes, despite my having very complex skin lesions. I work in healthcare and I understand the challenges that presents, but the way I was treated was nothing short of unacceptable, I will not be returning and I urge anyone with a history of skin cancer to avoid Dr. Horner.

I may have more experience w/ Dermatologists than most since my face was burned by UV light treatment as a teen. I've now had 44 basal cell skin cancers. Since I found Dr. Horner about 10yrs ago I can say without any hesitancy that he's the finest MD I've been treated by. I'm told I'll continue to have skin carcinomas for the rest of my life. There's simply no doctor, facility or staff who does such a fantastic job of caring for me & my skin. Plus his pricing is fair & lower than most!!

My husband and I both see Dr. Horner for our dermatology needs. We both have had cancerous lesions removed by him, and he has done wonderful work. I had a lesion removed from my nose, so it was in a very conspicuous place, and he did an excellent job. I recommend him to all my friends. His staff is equally competent and friendly.

Nice guy - poor practice Visited based on an insurance directed, Samaritan PC referral. Froze two lesions - in the office less than 5 minutes, billed $463.00, after insurance my portion = $156.36. I got an MRI around the same time and was billed less! Grace Dermatology is not up front about billing and costs. Ridiculous. Called to discuss it, was patronized for feeling upset ~ no recourse. NEVER again, shame on you!

One of the most caring, compassionate Drs. I have been to. I was very nervous when I arrived and within 10 mins. of talking to Dr. Horner he had me very relaxed about the surgical procedure. His follow up and concern is the best I have ever experienced. I recommend him highly!!
