Dr Keyes took time to explain everything to me and what he was going to do in surgery, recovering from surgery.

Great doctor
I was referred to Dr. Keyes and was impressed by his treatment and care. Dr. Keyes had to deliver a difficult diagnosis but he allowed me time to process the information and then patiently answered all my questions and provided treatment options. During all steps he kept me informed, and treated me with empathy.

Best Urologist I ever had.
Excellent, Dr. Keyes gets to the problem right away and helped me a lot and my only complaint is he moved away to greener pastures though I wish him the best of luck in Austin I wish I knew about him long before he had scheduled the career move. Dr. Keyes, if you ever read this I want you to know all of your work was appreciated and all turned out as expected, "Perfect".... If you ever come back to the Houston Area please advertise where you are practicing.... Memorial Herman or Methodist would be perfect..

Wife saw doctor on July 5th, she complained about pain in lower back and had temperature. He prescribed medication and did a lab with results to follow in a few days. He must be a mind reader. He never took her temperature or listened to her heart or touched her in any way, or did anything remotely close to what a doctor would do. He simply said that it wasn't anything to be concerned about. After the visit my wife tried numerous times to reach the doctor for the next 6 days because she had questions about the medication and the test results. At some point the doctors assistant called and changed the medication.. again with no word from the doctor. As of today July 12th we have not heard from him despite a very emphatic message from me. I would never recommend this doctor, you would get better results asking the guy whos sitting next to you at a red light whats wrong with you.

Great experience!
Dr. Keyes was great from our initial consultation to post operative care. Love that he offers Pronox as a way to keep anxiety levels down. Really glad I found Dr. Keyes after a poor experience with another physician here in Austin. Highly recommend Dr. Keyes if your looking to have a vasectomy.

Keep Looking
Dr. Keyes was nice and knowledgeable, and preformed a Robotic procedure, telling me I had a huge prostate, and that he would take out 80% of it. On Medicare, it was a 24 stay, so I left at 23.5 hours. I drove straight to the Pharmacy to get my meds. They weren't called in. I called in and went back to the Pharmacy the next day. No meds. I called again and talked to Sean, his PA, and he said it would be taken care of. I called the Pharmacy later and no meds. I called still again and the service said he was on call this weekend. I thought, Great, no extra links in the chain. I assume the Dr thought the hospital prescribed the meds, but I left. I NEVER got any pain meds and it was a long few days. Oh, and I haven't noticed any real improvement. Still waking every 2 hours or so, in the middle of the night. And this was my 4th Prostate procedure, having had it microwaved twenty years ago, a Green light procedure, a Turp Procedure, and this Robotic Procedure.

The Best Urologist Ever!!!!
My husband had a serious, life threatening situation, that was undetected for months after prostate surgery. Our former urologist didn't locate the problem. After numerous catheters, as many as 4 being replaced in a day, more than 8 camera scopes, severe bleeding and a bladder blockage, my husband was extremely anemic and had a blood transfusion, due to all the traumatic probing, but never any answers as to what was causing the problems. We then met Dr. Keyes, a true God Send! He is patient, considerate, great bed side manner and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Keyes diagnosed and took care of the problem almost immediately. After 5 1/2 months with catheters being switched out every few days, weekly ER visits, too many sleepless nights to count, my husband is now living his best life before this painful, life threatening and totally avoidable surgery and aftermath occurred. We owe everything to Dr. Keyes and grateful to God this wonderful, brilliant and humble Urologist is in our lives.
