5-Stars - Exceptional experience! A truly genuine and sincere gentleman, Dr. Kyle Smith is a phenomenal surgeon. He’s extremely technical, while also demonstrating the ability to genuinely connect with his patients. His care for you as a person is evident in the way he patiently listens and responds to all questions and concerns. I was experiencing a lot of severe nerve pain, which he was able to alleviate. I highly recommend Dr. Smith for any consultation or procedure.

Dr. Smith always takes his time with each patient. He not only answers your question, making sure you understand what he is saying, he also listens to and addresses any concerns you may have. He also has a great bedside manner and sense of humor. One of the best doctor patient interactions I've ever had. I'm very pleased with the surgery he preformed to fix my aching neck and back pain. I would very highly recommend Dr. Kyle Smith to anyone in need of his expertise in Nuerosurgery. He and his entire team at Semmes Murphey are very friendly and very good at what they do as well. Dr. Smith listened patiently and answered all questions during my initial appointment. I knew exactly what to expect during the surgery and the outcome he would expect. I never felt rushed. After surgery I noticed an immediate reduction in pain which has even gotten better over time. I would recommend Dr. Smith to anyone considering surgery.

Great experience in the office

Today was my 2 week post-op visit. It's been a game changer for me. Surgery was successful. I am so pleased and extremely happy with my progress thus far. Dr. Kyle Smith is such a wonderful Dr.He is attentive, caring and is a great listener. He answered all of my questions and concerns. I felt completely at ease and not rushed. I am truly blessed to have found him. He come highly recommend from me.

Dr. Kyle Smith solved my chronic back pain. I realize everyone has different issues but he was able to pinpoint my particular issue and surgically repair it. He is down to earth and easy to speak with and extremely knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend!

overcharge me and lied to my face

Once I got my first visit scheduled , everything went much better than I expected. Dr. Smith explained everything in a clear and professional manner that was very easy to understand. Dr. Smith gave me options and we both agreed on surgery. The surgery went very well without any pain and the results were instant relief. Prior to surgery I was in constant excruciating leg pain . After surgery I have been pain free and both the hospital and clinic called me at home to check on me. I would recommend Seems Murphy and Dr. Smith to anyone with back or nerve pain. I presented in extreme pain with a unique personal situation and Dr. Smith took time to explain everything completely, provide options with time tables and treatment plans, and a personal recommendation. Most doctors would not take personal responsibility for getting a patient out of pain quickly, but Dr. Smith helped me push a test through my insurance quickly with an immediate turnaround. Great staff, but Dr.Smith is amazing to work with. I will use him for any other needs in the future.

Dr Smith performed a TLIF on my back 9/13/22 , he's a very soft spoken guy , excellent communication and makes sure you understand what's going on. My surgery went well no longer having any pain and numbness. Thanks for helping me have a better quality if life without pain.

I am 28 and received a minimal invasive surgery from Dr. Smith yesterday on L5S1 in my lower back. The pain had been debilitating for about 2 months. As of this morning I am sore from the surgery but the extreme nerve pain that was locking my leg up is gone. Dr smith was the right choice
