Dr. Kym Boyman, MD

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Boyman. She's intelligent, she listens, she educates. She respects your right to your own body. She works with you. She does the work she needs to to get the job done well. Amazingly welcoming and comfortable environment. Queer friendly. I trust her more than any doctor I've ever visited. I drive 2 hours to see her, she's that good. I leave her office feeling empowered, never frustrated.

I am 10.5 weeks post op from a laparoscopic hysterectomy. In September of 2022 I went to VT GYN for an annual check up. Within two months I was meeting with Dr. Boyman due to the findings of 6 enlarged fibroids within my uterus. My life felt like it was turning upside down, but Dr. Boyman was the calm in that storm for me. She sat with me for well over an hour during my pre-op appointment reviewing my itemized list of concerns as well as any other questions that arose during the appointment. After a longer than anticipated surgery, she came out and spent time with my spouse and mother explaining not only how the surgery went but what to expect within the next few months of recovery. At each follow up appointment she was informative and took her time ensuring that every question was answered. I would write more, but I'm nearing the character limit. In short, Dr Boyman is a phenomenal and gifted surgeon with an equally wonderful bedside manner. I will always be grateful to her.

I really appreciate how caring, genuine, and professional Dr. Boyman is. She is non-judgmental and provided me with a space in which I always felt my concerns were both heard and addressed. I would strongly recommend Dr. Boyman especially for women in VT who struggle with or have concerns related to endometriosis. Also, I never felt my appointment was rushed and Dr. Boyman always made sure all of my questions were answered prior to leaving her office.

Dr Boyman is incredibly, kind, knowledgeable and caring. She has totally fixed a hormone issue that had plagued me for years and other doctors couldn’t help me with. I am so grateful to her practice and highly recommend VT Gynecology.

Dr Boyman is a fantastic physician.. She never makes me feel rushed, she always makes me feel entirely comfortable. She is thoughtful and obviously knowledgable about her field and takes the time to help me understand why she suggests what she does, always with my long term health and comfort her primary goal. I can't imagine a better choice for a Gynecologist.

Exceptional. Intelligent, empathetic, kind, great listener. Highly skilled surgeon. I experienced almost no pain after my surgery. Superior knowledge, superior skill with technology, completely versed in current and cutting edge technologies and procedures. I was very happy with the doctor's skill, care, knowledge, and communication.

Dr. Boyman is smart, compassionate, and thorough. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. She cares deeply about her patients and works hard to provide the level of care you deserve. She is knowledgeable about transgender health and affirming of identities across the gender spectrum. I highly recommend her.

Truly one of the most compassionate, caring and smart doctor I have ever seen. Explained everything is terms I could understand and left not stone unturned. Highly recommend!

Dr Boyman has great expertise in bedside manner but her expertise is lacking. I’m sure she is a fine Dr. for those with minor gynecological needs but cannot perform IUD insertion, deals poorly with fibroids and had several billing issues with her office which she did not clear up. I was also misdiagnosed with endometriosis and PCOS. My surgery was cut short because Dr. Boyman pays for her time in the OR and could not go over her time.

I don't recommend this doctor: appointed staff dealing with insurance would not help me out in something that ended up in their hands and as directed by my insurance. This caused me many problems. When I gave my feedback to the Doctor, she accused me of trying to "impugn" them. The doctor's office to which she referred me to told me she had called up after the trouble they gave me and told them that they "didn't' know' this and that: meanwhile I had been very clear with details. Disrespectful.

My experience with Dr. Boyman was entirely positive. As a surgeon she performed a complicated surgery using the smallest possible incisions allowing for quicker recovery. Her demeanor and patient care put me at ease from the first time I met with her.

Dr. Boyman is easily the most thoughtful and respectful provider I've known. She takes the time to listen to patient concerns and ensure procedures are thoroughly understood. She isn't condescending or a provider that "dumbs down" information when speaking to patients. Dr. Boyman made a referral to a "stand up comedy class" as part of my cancer recovery plan. My family and I love her and her practice!
