Dr. Kyra Blatt, MD

Dr Blatt is not dismissive like so many neurologists. She listens and thinks! She is caring and funny too. She respects the patients feelings concerning meds and doesn’t push. She makes you feel better by just talking to her. .She personally returns portal messages by phone ! Who does that these days? I highly recommend Dr Blatt!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Blatt today. She spent over an hour with me, patiently listening to every detail of my journey with chronic migraines. She was empathetic, supportive, and proactive all at once. I appreciated her willingness to listen and I could tell she was willing to walk this journey with me. For the first time in a long time, I feel optimistic about finding some relief for my headaches. I encourage anyone seeking migraine relief to see her. Additionally, her office staff was super kind and accommodating. It was a pleasure to meet them all.

My wife has been to three visits to date and in each Dr. Blatt was caring, thorough and most importantly my wife always leaves feeling better about herself. She has provided numerous recommendations that have proved helpful. She carefully monitors medical records forwarded from the CRCNJ were my wife is participating in a study utilizing Donanemab. I appreciate her directness when asked questions and would recommend her highly.

AMAZING I was referred to Dr. Blatt by a SB Medical Center Director. I took my wife Francesca to see her today. Dr. Blatt was so warm and caring. My wife has seen 7 neurologists all had terrible personalities and bedside manner. My wife's first visit with Dr. Blatt made her so happy . She really listens and cares. We felt so comfortable with her. She spent a long time with us and asked a lot of questions. It is rare these days to find a doctor who really listens and does not make you feel rushed, not to mention is very warm and has a good sense of humor as well. She explained everything changed some medications and review her tests. She took my wifes's condition seriously and showed a true interest in her situation along with concerns for my situation as the main caregiver. I would definitely recommend her. AMAZING Luigi

I had my first visit with Dr. Blatt and am so happy I found her. She really listens and cares. I felt so comfortable with her. She spent a long time with me and asked a lot of questions. It is rare these days to find a doctor who really listens and does not make you feel rushed, not to mention is very warm and has a good sense of humor as well. I have been having frequent headaches for many years now and haven't been able to figure out why or a good treatment plan. She came up with a plan that I am very happy with and is going to further investigate with tests. For the first time, I feel like I might get some answers. She took me seriously and showed a true interest in my situation. I would definitely recommend her.

Brought my mother to her 2nd appt. yesterday, which I hesitated on due to not being overly thrilled about our first appt. We were the first appt. so I thought 'great! in and out!' unlike last time...Checked in in at 9am to be told the dr. had an emergency this morning with her dog.(why wouldn't the desk call us?) She should be here in 1/2 hr. When dr. arrived 45 mins later, she apologized for being late:'I am getting my house painted and they knocked out our electricity and I was told I had to get a generator' blah, blah, blah.Explanation took 10 mins, exam room is a mess which she also added(her reason for no chair to sit on) Never signed into her computer to look at my mother's chart..Asked questions like she never met my mother (who is 85 w/early signs of Alzheimer's) Suggested OT for my mother....she suggested that at the first visit. Wouldn't you have this in you daily notes after you see a patient? She then continued to talk about meds, which she also spoke of at the first appt.

Dr. Blatt is one of the best, most sensitive and kind medical practitioners I've ever had the chance to meet. She is caring, attentive, and takes her time with her patients. In the age of "fast food medicine", this is a welcome throwback to an earlier period when doctors took the time to patiently and intently listen to their patient's concerns. I have never once felt rushed or pressured in her office. She has a tremendous wit and humor to boot. I would recommend her to a family member or friend in a heartbeat.

Dr. Blatt was incredibly rude, condescending and dismissive. The office staff was also rude and very unhelpful.

Dr Blatt spent over 30 minutes with me, getting a detailed history and explaining the reasoning behind the tests and the pros and cons of alternative treatments. She was very thorough and attentive. I did not feel rushed and all my concerns and questions were addressed. The medications she prescribed were very effective and my condition improved immediately. She is clearly very experienced in the treatment of migraines and I would highly recommend her.

Office staff is horrendous. Dr Blatt definitely prefers her other office to the crumbs she throws this location. She puts a bandaid on symptoms but is not interested in looking at solving a real dx.

Sometimes when you hear hoof beats, it is, in fact, a Zebra. Unfortunately Dr. Blatt was unwilling to go beyond the easiest diagnosis even though it didn’t fit my husband’s symptoms. She heard hoof beats but insisted it was horses. Fortunately we found another neurologist who was willing to do the necessary testing.

Dr Blatt seems good at first. Then you will will see her follow-up is terrible, she is very disorganized, she is nasty if you disagree with her, and she really has a poor grasp of scientific principles and study methodology. She is more concerned with her personal liability than the care of her patients. I would strongly recommend you find a different neurologist.

Dr. Blatt seems very knowledgeable, but she provided no details about her findings, so not helpful . On a follow-up phone call she was rude & dismissive, which added more stress to what was already a stressful situation. Terrible communication style. Not the kind of doctor I’m used to at all, and I would not recommend.
