Dr. L Wynette Murphy, MD

First impression of Dr.Murphy wasn’t great, she seemed rushed and inattentive. Following visits consisted of me having to ask for tests and reminding her of points that needed to brought up. I also missed the cut off for the 12 weeks first trimester genetic testing because she spaced on it. Again with the second trimester one. I requested that they send all lab orders to a specific facility (as it was covered under our insurance) and was hit with a bill for $500 from a lab I didn’t use for a swab test I wasn’t aware they were taking. Any time I called there was always a wait. One time it was 27 minutes on hoId before I finally gave in and hung up. I would never come to this office again. I wish I would’ve known earlier that this office would just add so much stress to my pregnancy. If you have the choice of another doctor, do yourself a favor and go to them.

She takes the time to explain things and answer questions. She does not rush thru the visit.

I really appreciated how she carefully considered all of my symptoms, imaging and lab tests and is quick to order more testing when needed. She wasn't at all dismissive of me and my symptoms. She took all the time she needed to carefully review my whole history to figure out what's going on with me.

Dr Murphy never feels like she has to hurry with you. She reviews everything in your chart w you. Always ask if you have ?’s & if u understand what she is explaining. I feel confident w her knowledge & expertise.

I was greeted with a friendly staff I was taken to a room and examed by the medical asst she told we to wait to undress until they knew when the doctor was ready. I liked that idea Dr Murphy came in and went through all my meds and health questions and then examined me and was very explanatory with me the transcriber in the office was also very friendly I was very comfortable in all ways especially for being a new patient.

Dr. Murphy was very kind and easygoing. It was a stress-free experience.

The visit was good and her staff were awesome! The only thing I didn’t like is my appointment was at 4:00 so I got there 15 minutes early as they suggest and I finally got out a little after 6:30. But they were all wonderful!

I was very impressed with my first visit with Dr. Murphy. She was friendly and thorough and took time in recording a detailed problem list and medical history. She really listened to me and explained my diagnosis and her treatment plan to me. I would highly recommend her to others

At my last visit I waited for 3 hours before I saw the doctor. This past visit I waited for an hour and she spent 10 minutes with me.

It was definitely a longer appointment than planned, but as a first time patient I really appreciated the time she devoted to getting to know me. She and her staff were extremely thorough and listened to all of my health concerns.

Today was my first visit to see Dr. Murphy. She spends time with you to find out about your health and any concerns you have. I am not used to having such great care!! I highly recommend Dr. Murphy.

Dr. Lisa Murphy and her staff were all friendly and professional! They all made me feel very comfortable and I would definitely recommend them!!!

She made the female exam seem so easy and by far the least painful Pap smear I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this doctor! They listen and answer questions and do not push you to change your mind.
