Lacks Empathy & Bedside Manner
Consistent with the other reviews, Dr. Laguduva lacks empathy and bedside manner. She attempted to bully me into an induction, which I did not feel it was time for based on the information from the midwives I was seeing (who her office oversees). Instead, she convinced me to do a membrane sweep. After several seconds, I asked her to stop because it was extremely painful. Rather than respect my request, she replied "don't make me stop." I had to physically push her hand away because she lacked respect for my wishes regarding my body. This is not someone I would trust to oversee my birth or pregnancy. Luckily, my pregnancy was overseen by the midwives but hopefully others will avoid going through unpleasant experiences with her based on her reviews.

I went to this practice for my first pregnancy. I ABSOLUTELY do not recommend this practice. They don’t get to know you, they are dismissive at appointments, they are not friendly. It was a horrible experience for my first pregnancy. I ended up having my child very early (15 weeks early) and when I went for my post-partum checkup, the nurse asked me if I was having any pregnancy symptoms- SHE DID NOT REALIZE I HAD ALREADY HAD MY SON. What a joke. They couldn’t even read the chart? I hope this review makes some other new mom choose a different practice.

Dr. Laguduva, delivered my last child via csection. Prior to my delivery, our office visits were always full of Q&A time and I never felt judged or rushed through our time together. On the day of delivery, her bedside manner was top notch and her demeanor was empathetic and calming which put my mind at ease and made for a very pleasant and memorable delivery. I’ve always had very positive experience with Dr. Laguduva. Additionally, I’ve seen Julia Wood for my annuals and have had nothing but positive experiences with her. She offers so much insight and genuinely cares about her patients health and well being. The entire staff is pleasant, energetic and professional. I also appreciate being able to view my results or contact my physician by sending a message through the mobile app which is a huge time saver for me.

I went for a routine checkup and to get information on genetic testing and she was very dismissive the whole time. She walked in, didn’t say “hi, how are you”. She had a very “let’s just get this over with” attitude. I had planned to reveal a procedure I had done prior to my visit but I didn’t feel comfortable telling her which is the complete opposite of how your doctor should make you feel. She dismissed my concerns regarding things important to me. I don’t plan on ever returning to see her.

It was my first visit with Dr.Lakshum Rani Laguduva. I received very good care from Dr. Laguduva. She is very professional and friendly explains everything clearly so I understand exactly what she is doing. Dr. Laguduva was Awesome! The office was so nice and the Staff was so friendly and welcoming! I would Highly Recommend her.

I agree with a previous reviewer, this doctor has no empathy. I got eye rolls and condescending remarks. She didn't want to deal with any of my problems and told me to see doctors in other fields. She is mean, a jerk. If that's how you want to be treated for sensitive medical concerns, by all means you find the right place. She's by far the worst in the practice. Go elsewhere.

I went for a checkup after abnormal period and she scorned at me for not taking pregnancy test. She diagnosed me with a miscarriage but did not help me with how to recover from it. There was no empathy and kindness showed, and I left feeling distraught. She laughed at my questions at times and was condescending. Never again will I ever goto her or recommend her.
