Dr. Lalitakala Sundar, MD

I was under the care of this psychiatrist for 8 years. She has excellent listening skills, is sensitive to the patient's needs, monitors medications making sure they are in the correct dosages, supervises kidney and liver functions, respects the patient, her approach and care avoided hospitalizations in all this time. I have had this mental disease for 24 years and I felt I was in the best care with her. She prevented hospitalizations for 8 years this is a fact that speaks for itself. In time of crises which I had 2 she knew exactly what to do at the beginning of each one preventing hospitalizations which constitute the last resource. I'm grateful for having been under her care. She is the best professional I know. She is retiring from my center but if she goes on to work in a private practice, she definitely has more to give to our society. She is knowledgeable, professional and caring.
