Dr. Lan Luo, MD

My husband has been under Dr. Luo's care in Ocala for several years. Over time his mitral valve regurgitation has gotten worse. He recently had a non-surgical procedure by Dr. Luo called a TEE (transesophogialechocardiogram). He was told to follow up with her in two weeks. He has become very weak over the past several weeks leading up to the procedure and since then. He called her office with the intent to see her earlier than the 2 wk follow up visit, but was told to wait. Due to his weakness and lack of strength, he has fallen several times (one of which resulted in a 2 inch laceration that required stitches) he was taken to the Inverness ER and admitted. He has chosen not to see Dr Luo again due to her seeming lack of concern in his overall health.

I have seen Dr. Lou's nursing asst. but not Dr. Lou. I am hoping she is available for my TEE and follow up visit. I have checked my cell phone number and is not blocked. Dr. Lou is a very good doctor.

She is a very nice lady, concerned about her patients and is always available. I could not get better care anywhere else. If you live in the Ocala area she is the best you can get.

Dr. Luo has a communication problem. I found out I had a very serious Aortic Aneurism that needed to be addressed immediately and I would most likely need open heart surgery. I wonder why she had one of her minions deliver the bad news via a phone call. I never met this assistant but I had a major problem communicating with her due to a severe accent. Why didn't the Dr. call me in for a consult instead? Why did she schedule my next appt. SIX MONTHS IN THE FUTURE? Why couldn't she look me in the face when she spoke with me?Why didn't she disclose to me that my aortic valve needed to be replaced even though it was in her final written assessment? Maybe she was over worked or upset about something extraneous to my condition or maybe she didn't care enough. I'm not a mind reader but when it comes to cardiologists they need to have their head in the game or they make mistakes. I WOULD NOT recommend Dr. Luo to anyone requiring a cogent cardiologist.

In June 2020 I went for an appointment. Their facility is not practicing any of CDC's guidelines for Covid-19 precautions during the pandemic! I will not go back there!

Excellent. I am a new patient. While sitting in the waiting area I was surprised to see a doctor calling in patients to be seen.. Only to find out later that she was my doctor. She was very thorough in having me tested and also called me up on a Sunday with my test results.Can't get better care than that

Every visit is a pleasure. Very good doctor, doesn't take chances with your health. Doesn't beat around the bush. I have the utmost confidence in her.

I just can't say enough about Dr. Luo and the other doctors and surgeons she works with. She cares. And she is smart. And she saved my life.

A very caring & accomplished Doc. Very easy to speak with and makes you feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a cardiologist.

Dr Luo & staff are patient focused to provide quality care and attention as needed. Dr Luo reviews records with you, explains, listens, and takes care of miscellaneous things unlike many of today's doctors. She will personally contact a hospital or other doctors for additional help which lessens the stress of the unknown.

The whole office was kind and caring. My appointment was the last of the day but the nurse was very pleasant and very competent. Dr Luo was over the top with her concern and competence. I feel like her concern is all about helping!!! Your not just another number.

Dr. Lou is a great doctor. She saved my family member's life. We went for a consult and she right away knew the problem and my family member had 2 severe blockages that required stents! He had them the next week.

Excellent first visit to establish care with Dr who was present. Second visit to follow through after stress tests and echo was with the nurse practitioner and not Dr. Luo.

Dr Luo was referred by my primary Doctor and a friend whom she treated. She is a pleasure to consult with.
