Only Decent Sleep Doctor in NM
Dr. Wagner is the only good sleep medicine doctor in NM right now. All the other good sleep MD’s have retired or moved. Dr. Wagner is smart, on top of newer research, kind, and very much on the patients’ side. The only negative reviews here are from folks who can’t get through to her via the Pres Sleep Medicine phone line. Yes, it’s hard to get appointments or responses to calls. That’s because the rest of the Pres sleep staff is useless. Don’t call. Contact Dr. Wagner directly via the patient portal instead. She always answers there. I hope the negative reviewers will consider deleting their reviews from her listing and posting them under the listing for Pres Health Services instead. It’s wrong to lower the ratings of an outstanding doctor because she works within a flawed system. Lovelace and UNM are as badly run too, and they don’t have anyone anywhere near Dr. Wagner’s caliber. I feel very lucky to have found her and to finally have my OSA addressed properly.

Can't directly talk To The Dr. And there is no follow up except from a clerk, named Kimberly which is very sarcastic. There is no way to contact this doctor to review results and a game plan. Try another sleep study Dr.

Don't bother with this provider or with HME
I have a current CPAP emergency. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone at the Doctors office and Britney won't call me back. I am literally on a work trip and between her office and lack of support and the fact that HME Specialists are the worst company ever, I am literally worried about my health. You would think a provider like this would care enough about their patients to actually help their clients, especially when BREATHING is a bit of an issue and sleep is essential.

Can't tell you much about a visit that never happened. I was scheduled today at 10:20 A.M. for a video consultation. I was called yesterday and two days ago. The person on the line told me that I would receive a call at 10:10 to get a link for the doctor to be able to communicate with me at 10:20 A.M. I took a day off work and sat by the phone. It never rang. At 10: 40, I called Dr. Wagner's office to ask what was going on. The medical assistant never took my call. Instead, she lied and told the person who answers the phone and talks with clients that she had called me and had asked me to come to the office in person instead of waiting to be seen on line. I was on hold for 20 minutes. Of course, I explained that I had never been called. Dr. Wagner's office refused to see me (even though I explained that my CPAP is not working well and that I have not had a decent might's sleep in a whole month, I am a zombie!). My next appointment with Dr. Wagner will be next year (January 3).
