Dr. Lance Burns, MD

I went to Dr Burns to get a procedure done his staff told me to show up for a pre-opperation review at St Vincent on nov 11 at 930 am I wast there at 9:30 and was told that no pre-testing had been scheduled I called their office and was told that a mistake had been made and that they were trying to reschedule my procedure I waited after talking with their office for a full hour without being told more than to wait that I would be taken care of after waiting 1 full hour and no one telling me anything other than wait I decide to go home and called an asked that they reschedule me they acted like I should of been willing to wait 2 or more hours but never gave me any indication on how long I needed to wait or even ask if I was busy or asked if I had other obligations so I simply said that I was going and to please reschedule my apointment after which I waited a week and never got a call from them to reset my appointment. So after a second week with no call I have decided to find a new doctors who cares about his patients !!! I called the office and they acted like I was at fault for all this !!!

Best surgeon in little rock. He's performed 2 major abdominal surgeries on me,and he definitely fits the bill!. He knows what he is doing!!!.

Had a colonoscopy. After a FULL MONTH no one gave me results but they sure could call EVERONE to collect a $36 bill. Had a second test. It’s been 15 days. ZERO COMMUNICATION. Don’t go here. They don’t care. They won’t call. They won’t return calls.

Dr.Burns is a wonderful Doctor. I met him for the first time and feel in love. He was carrying and was able to help me . I would recommend him to anyone.

About 6 years ago Dr. Burns performed surgery on me. The results were excellent. Now, July 2021, while I am in a hospital for bleeding who should show up in my hospital room at 6:30am, you guessed it; and the next day, also, because I need nearly immediate surgical care (for a different reason). He did not have to do that. Your are in good hands with this skilled surgeon/doctor. Good personality too. I am so thankful.

My husband is battling stage IV colon cancer and is a patient of Dr. Burns. Over the past 60 days, Dr. Burns has removed a colon tumor from my husband's sigmoid colon, created a temporary ileostomy, and then reversed the ileostomy once the colon healed from the resection. He was an incredible surgeon. We were always excited to see him when he stopped by each day while we were in the hospital. When we were evaluating surgeons, the consensus was clear... Dr. Burns is the best! He's changed our life, so we're biased, but we definitely agree!

I did not actually see Dr Burns. I was referred to him by another Dr for a very serious complication I was experiencing that needed urgent attention, I was told that his office responded quickly to referrals, however, it took his office more than three weeks to respond, after which time I had already seen another Dr, had surgery for the complication spent a week in the hospital and well on the way to recovery. Not impressed.

Dr Burns is an amazing surgeon and person.. He truly cares about his patients.. I highly recommend him..

Dr. Burns was so wonderful! He has an excellent, caring bedside manner, and an overall pleasant personality. The surgery he performed for me absolutely changed my life for the better! I'm so thankful to have found a knowledgeable and studious doctor! I would recommend him to anyone who needs this type of doc!

I have never met a more kind and caring doctor before. He really loves his job and taking care of people. He has gone above and beyond what many doctors would have done to help me. If you need a fantastic golf-rectal surgeon go see Dr Burns. If you want just a so so doctor go see someone else!

We are very fortunate to have Dr. burns here in Arkansas. If you need colorectal surgery rest assured he is the best, I recently had transanal excision for what started out as stage 3c rectal cancer before chemoradiation and responded down to a locally excisable adenoma, i was back to riding my bicycle two days after surgery. He is very skilled in all the latest minimally invasive techniques which will save you a lot of pain and disfigurement.

Dr. Burns was warm, enthusiastic and diagnosied my problem that I had for decades within minutes. I wish I would have seen him before my coccyxgectomy. I found long awaited answers today. I’m very grateful for this wonderful doctor!

Dr. Burns is an amazing doctor and saved my life. I ended up having 3 surgeries all done my Dr. Burns to remove all of my large intestines and rectum and make a jpouch. Dr Burns was great. He hasaid a great bed side manner and also tells you how it is. It has been a year and he still does all of my follow up scopes. Most doctors after a surgery they are done and leave you hanging. Dr burns assured me he will remain my dr. I am so thankfull I chose him. My kids will use him in the future as well.

I've had an excellent experience with Dr. Burns! I've had two surgeries- a hemorrhoidectomy and a pilonidal cyst excision. He makes the patient feel comfortable and at ease. He has a great personality, and genuinely cares about his patients. I would definitely recommend him, and I would go back to him in a heart beat.

Dr. Burns safe my life. I had the flesh eating disease and he was able to do surgery on me very quickly so as it did not spread. He also has the best bed side manner. When i was in the hospital he would spend extra time in the room with My Family and i answering questions. Dr. Burns is the best.
