Dr. Lance Kim, DO

I was referred to Dr. Kim through a walk-in care as I had developed dropfoot. All within two weeks Dr. Kim saw me did an MRI did a nerve conduction study test did an ultrasound. Had blood work done and performed a nerve block by injection on me. My MRI showed severe back issues which was separate from my drop foot. I never thought this was possible, but I’m waking up in the morning pain-free in my back. Thanks to Dr. Kim. I highly recommend you go see him if you are having chronic pain or any other nerve issues.

ZERO communication skills from the office & scheduling staff. Called multiple times over several weeks. NO LIVE PERSON will answer. Calls go to voicemail. NO return calls. I ended up driving to the office…

So he had a sleep tech hand out medication, same guy called me a pain in the butt (he used the other word). Sleep tech are not licensed to give out medication to patients. Also the sleep tech didn't wait to hear me say ok you can come in, he just walked in as I was in the rr. Oh and the room I was in the rr door was broken. Dr Kim only has money in his eyes nothing with patient care at all. He gets upset when you email him regarding medicine he gave you. He doesn't email you back he has his staff do it. Oh and without being told the tech stopped my recording and left me hooked up for an hour, he finally came in to ask me what I needed and let him know I could no longer just lay there and that's when he told me that he had stopped my testing because I was awake. I would give zero stars if I could.

Dr. Kim walked into the room angry. I had never seen him before and he had no reason to feel this way toward me. He was mean and cold and did not communicate with me at all about what or why he was doing any testing. When I asked him questions he didn't respond. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone.

I woke up one morning with my left side numb head to toes. Went to ER transferred to hospital, did an MRI and other tests. I was told I had a small stroke and not to worry that they would keep me for the night to observe and send me home and to follow up with my primary Doctor. I had to wait to get appointment for my Doctor, once I got to see him he recommended I see a specialist, Neurologist Dr. Lance Kim and let me tell you I was extremely impressed with all of his staff and the convenience of having all of the testing at his office. I had a sleep study, MRI, Ultrasound on my neck, NCS,EMG on my legs and feet then when all the tests were done within a few weeks...yes can you believe it! We discussed the results and he found the cause of my stroke which was due to a few things severe sleep apnea, high blood pressure and being overweight. I now take several medications and use a machine to help me sleep and I feel so much better knowing what I can do to prevent having another stroke.

He's been the only doctor that has helped me he's very caring and kind and looks out for my best interests.

Dr. Kim is not only he is most knowledgeable Neuro expert but also have vast knowledge of General medicine. Dr. Kim is most caring doctor.

This Dr. has a state of the art location with his own MRI office within his own office--let that sink in: an office within an office. I have been dx with MS since 2011 with flaring lesions; however, after doing an MRI in his office, he stated that I never had MS and that I now have Fibromyalgia. He continued to do other testing at his location only to restate that it was Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia and MS are somewhat different and I do not agree with his new diagnosis. It seems like everyone in the lobby was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia as well. I was originally diagnosed in Georgetown University and they happen to be the best of the best, so I do not agree with Dr. Kim's opinion at all.

Mr. Kim is a great doctor. He listens to to what you have going on. His nurse are so nice.

I am active duty Military in town. Dr Kim wastes no time developing a plan for my issues and already has a course of action before I walk in. I never have to wait for more than 10 minutes in person. His no nonsense approach is a blessing because I just want to get better. This is the only Neuro that has ever made a difference in my myriad of issues. Truly thankful for Florida Neuro Center and Dr Kim.

Dr Kim is a very professional neurologist. He sits down and speaks with you and answers your questions, that is something very important to me. I've seen him multiple times. The staff is excellent especially Sunny at the front desk! And Pamela that does the nerve study, she knew I was stressed out and actually gave me a hug! I would definitely give Dr Lance Kim five stars!!!!!! If you are looking for a very professional knowledgeable neurologist you need to contact Dr Kim in Ocala! He assured me that the nerve blocks were not that painful and they were not, it instantly helped my right leg that had been numb for about three and a half months due to sciatica and neuropathy. He recommended a sleep study which I'm scheduled for, and also I'm waiting a pain management phone call! It's always a pleasure to go to his office. I’ve always felt welcomed and heard at this office by Dr Kim and his entire team. I’ve been going here for over 10 years for my seizure disorder and over time new things that he has helped with and fixed. They all truly care!

Dr. Kim is very straight to the point and wants to help you they best way possible! Him and His office knows the VA system very well and any time, we to get something done (Neck injections this time) it took days for his office to call me back to set up an injection appointment. The headaches and stiffness from my neck have went away and feel so much better!

I've suffered with migraines for 43 years. I have been a patient of Dr. Kim's for almost 15 years. I have the kind of migraines that medications will only work for so many months or years until they just stop working. However, Dr. Kim always has a new solution for me! He just gave me injections in my face and head (the website won't let me tell the name of it). He's gentle, but VERY thorough. Most of my family are patients as well for other neurological issues, and like me, they would never go elsewhere either.. Dr. Kim is the GOAT!

Doesnt believe in answering phone. In his first visit he will enter his email address in your phone (which they dont answer as well. Even though your insurance company states no coay for procedures they make up amounts to say you have to pay. He gotnfined 800k for fraud in past. Staff unfriendly and downright aggresive. He should be investigated again.

I visited Dr. Kim's office several times to get an MRI done for some back and neck pain that I had been having after doing contact sports. His office was very nice and his staff was professional. I was able to get my results back within a reasonable timeframe and Dr. Kim took the time to answer all my questions and make sure that I was comfortable with his recommendations. Overall, I appreciated Dr. Kim and his staff's professionalism and would return to him if I ever needed further help.

For a few weeks, I had been dealing with pain in my forearms and calves that I attributed to strenuous exercise but was not going away and I was starting to get concerned. I visited Dr. Kim's office and he was extremely helpful in figuring out what was really happening. He ordered me an EMG test that showed that there was no serious damage to my arms or legs. I was feeling pretty concerned about the pain but Dr. Kim helped me to feel much better and addressed all of my concerns. His office and staff were professional and made me feel like I was in good hands.

My name is Connie, 69 yrs. Dr Kim and his staff and team are the best of the best. My body was becoming numb and balance was shot. There were a lot of tests done and then the waiting for a diagnosis. Vestibular nerve damage, Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia & carpal tunnel. Dr Kim explained everything, although there isn't a cure, there is relief and therapy Injections of nerve blocks and therapy for my balance and walking. These are going extremely well. For those of you out there suffering and don't know what is wrong, like I did. Dr Kim and him team Will find out the problem and help you in any way they can. There is no need to suffer or to try and diagnose yourself. Dr. Kim and his team will treat you with respect. And please be patient for your diagnosis as you want the correct one. They will give you peace of mind.....

I’m 63 and had terrible migraines for most of my life. Dr Kim has given me my life back. He works with your insurance and the pharmaceutical companies to help you get the care you need at the lowest cost to you. The patient is who he cares about. He may seem gruff but it’s because he is constantly working and you do see him smile when he sees his patient doing well.
