Poor Office Staff
Office staff wont even schedule appts without verifying insurance. this is very frustrating and then she says like its a law. that she has the office policy written in blood. this is very bad for someone trying to be a new patient.

No Appointment
I called Dr. Mayor office to setup an appointment around 1 P.M. I was informed by the person who picked up that they were out to lunch and would call me back after 2 P.M. It was 2:16 P.M with no call. I called Dr. Mayors office again and was on hold listening to the auto mated machine for 19 mins and 31 sec. A male picked up and started asking what is wrong and who referred me. I gave my insurance information and asked if I had another insurance. I told the gentlemen that he sounded condescending. I asked him how to I make a complaint and the male hung up on me. So basically, I was not able to schedule an appointment and was hung up on. I am going to change my insurance from in-network to out-network.

Dr. Mayor runs a very unorganized office. I had an appointment with him recently and waited over an hour in a check up room after being sat by his nurse. While waiting I listened to him belittle his brother Jordan with very harsh words. I do not recommend seeing him. If he were more professional with patients as well as staff, he would work in a larger setting with a team of doctors and not by himself. Learn some manners, Lance!

Be forewarned, this office insists that insured patients give-up their social security number. The need to share this critically private information ended about two decades ago. Any smart adult or good parent knows that this is a foolish practice. When asked why it is needed, the front office insisted they "didn't know why;" forwarded to ask the doctor, same response. The answer is simple: they do NOT need it. This may be a good doctor. If you are comfortable unnecessarily giving up your private information, try them out. But know that identity theft is a growing problem in this country and their insistence at obtaining a social security raises all sorts of red flags. Yes, I am fully and verifiably insured. Maybe it's time to retire, Doc?

i will NEVER EVER see Dr mayor again. My first visit was a total NIGHTMARE! He was CONDESENDING. He wasn't listening to my concerns. He treated me like I was 10 years old..He was asking me questions so fast that he I didn't have time to answer them. My son just passed away.He said that he was sorry for my loss and then he asked me was it GANG-RELATED? I guess that's the first thing that came to his mind because I was black. Why didn't he ask me what happened to my son? I was so ANGRY when I left his office. He will NEVER SEE ME AGAIN! I have never been so HUMULIATED!!

My last Dr recently left my health plan and recommended Dr Mayor to me. Dr Mayor gives the impression of very interested and exhaustively thorough physician and the results of my most recent physical bear this out. I highly recommend Dr Mayor.

Love love love this doctor. If you want someone to spend time with you and listen and give you a through exam, this is the place. You may have to wait....but so worth it, because when it is your turn, you have his attention and he spends time. No rushing at t his office. Have been going here for over 20 years and my family too He is excellent in diagnosis and referring to the BEST specialists in LV. I think everyone over 40 needs an Internal Medicine doctor. He is your medical team leader

Highly recommend! If you really want somebody who has exceptional diagnostic skills and can coordinate your care this is the doctor for you. I have been going to Dr. Mayor for 20 years now and have always had exceptional care. He listens and he really cares about you getting better. I really trust him. The one thing you should be aware of is that you may have a long wait but when it is your turn he is not rushed. He may run behind but it is because he spends time with you !!!

My OBGYN Dr. referred me to Dr. Mayor for my blood pressure and also having issues with depression. When I told him about my depression, the first thing he said to me was, and I quote, You need to go get a boyfriend. That comment was just totally inappropriate and unprofessional. For that comment I could not seriously recommend him to anyone and I would never go to see him again. He also was arrogant and really flippant in his conversation with me. I couldn't leave his office fast enough.
