I saw this woman during my first pregnancy and she did not listen to me when I told her something wasn't okay. I was at my 10 week appointment and she couldn't find the heartbeat with the fetal dopplar. I told her my symptoms were less and asked for an ultrasound. She told me that sometimes they can't find it. She even used the small portable ultrasound and on the screen she pointed and said there is the little peanut everything is okay. I told her I didn't see anything. She said I won't get a scan until 20 weeks and this is my first pregnancy so I'm over thinking it. I paid for an ultrasound at one of the private places in town and once the image came onto the screen immediately knew my baby wasn't alive. The baby stopped growing at 7 weeks gestation. I had what they call a missed miscarriage. I had to go to the office for confirmation and the same doctor, if she should be called that, saw me and did not.even attempt to apologize.
