In brief I went to see the Dr. for neuropathic pain. She ordered an MRI of my cervical spine. For my neuropathy she recommended I stop eating pizza and things like that. Yet she ignored the severe and significant MRI findings on the MRI she ordered. Turns out I had significant spinal cord compression and needed surgery. Other professionals were incredulous that this finding was ignored and that I was not referred for immediate evaluation...

I had a good experience with this doctor. I was suffering from severe back pain after the accident in 2019. She was nice, seemed to be knowledgeable and she listened to my complaints. I did an MRI and followed up with her. Overall after 4 appointments, I am satisfied with her care. Would recommend.

Dr Lempert is not very good. She just write down what I said and keep telling me to have her therapy that she created which costs $750 per session but I could have it for $250 and I need to have 6 times. This therapy is not covered by any insurance, she was like "you can pay on your card so that's fine for you." Her therapy includes red light, needle work and nutritional direction which sounds good but I wasn't sure. She doesn't even touch my hands or neck where I had pain, pin & needles - how do you know what's going on? I didn't make appointment for this therapy but went to see her few more times, she was always just taking a notes then talk about this therapy, it's not going anywhere if I don't have her therapy so I'm going to change to different Doctor.

Saw Dr. Lempert in 2017 for widespread nervous pain in my upper body. Received an EMG test; the attending nurse commented that my upper body was riddled with nervous problems. On follow-up, Dr. Lempert did not advise me of my EMG results, reviewed the many (potentially unnecessary) tests she'd ordered, and only told me to take certain vitamins. She also averred, baselessly, that my PreP presecription could be the cause of my pain. I got the results of my EMG yesterday and they clearly indicated that I had "severe" cervical radiculopathy and that a follow-up MRI was indicated. She never, ever told me about these results and I would not have found out unless I requested the raw EMG results myself. I plan on filing a complaint with the State.

Dr. Lempert was vague, evasive and pre-occupied with typing the MRI report word for word. Wait time was 1hr and she didn't ask how I was feeling, if the headaches decrease or if I was in any pain. She literally spent the entire 10 minutes typing out my MRI and suggesting I get another MRI with contrast within a 1 month time span....Really? Never discussed results or previous test done. Will never return.

The worst. Incompetent at best. Made me bleed from the electrode which I didn't even think was possible.

Dr. Lempert is very knowledgeable in various areas. She knows a lot about healing through dieting and the earth! She knows what test to give and what meds are needed to treat a wide variety of illnesses! She treats conditions that not much is known about such as mine dystonia.

Rose dystonia in Brooklyn, NY – Nov 15, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Lempert?
Dr. Lempert was warm and personable, but prescribed the incorrect splints for my nerve pain, telling me to get wrist splints when I needed elbow splints. After a rather wacky EMG test, she only gave vague feedback. There was no follow up, and her attention seemed scattered during both appointments that I had with her. A nice person, but I did not feel confident in her ability to treat my nerve pain so I ultimately went to another doctor.
