I have been seeing Dr. Bans for over 3 years now for prostate cancer, he has been managing my condition through active surveillance and I couldn’t be happier. I had an initial biopsy done by another Urologist who wanted to do surgery on me the next week! I Thank God that I had the initiative to go for a second opinion and was able to find Dr. Bans for a second opinion, he is the Best ! I would highly recommend Him to anyone!

I had prostate surgery 15 years ago by Dr. Bans. I am writing this because I just had a CT this week and I am still cancer free after 15 years. I believe that Dr. Bans had the right combination of confidence in his abilities and excellent training. You may have to wait a while to get an appointment with Dr. Bans simply because he is the best. If you want to get a quick appointment I am sure there are many physicians in Arizona that are not that busy. If you want to walk out of having a CT after 15 years hearing that you are cancer free, consult Dr. Bans.

Gleason 3+3, I had two biopsies in Cleveland, very painful and ended a few days later with trips to the ER for a urinary catheter. Moved to Phoenix and found Dr. Bans. I have since had one biopsy, no pain and no complications. My BPH symptoms have improved under Dr. Bans treatment. Dr. Bans is the best.
