Service
Dr. Bennet gave me the best check up I've ever had. Wait time was 10 min. Kelly was very nice and always calls to remind me of my appointment. I think he is a caring, thorough doctor.

A lot of reviews here are focused on the receptionist or wait times. To those who did that, check yourselves because it is not helpful whatsoever. I'm giving this a one star for the following reasons: 1.) There is only an office and one space to see patients at a time. If you need a urine sample analyzed or a vaccination (outside of COVID shots), they will NOT offer it in office. 2.) Dr. Bennett himself won't pull up any electronic records. This makes paperwork a chore. Also, it is not just harder on the patient, but Dr. Bennet himself (whether he realizes it or not) because its harder to access records on prior visits. 3.) Tying into the above, this will lead to awkward situations. For example, a script was written for a vaccination. When I brought it to other offices, they questioned why I had one for a vaccination. 4.) I am on Medicaid and his office does not know how to handle Health Risk Assessment forms required under some plans. I had to walk them through the process.

Dr. Bennett is an excellent Dr, just very old school. I've seen him for a number of years now. I'm 39, with a number of chronic health conditions, and he manages all of them. He writes most of my prescriptions, and writes referrals when I need them for specialists. He always schedules follow ups, and makes sure not to leave you hanging after he writes a prescription. Fortunately you can get an appointment in a few days, or the often that day, if it's a day they're open, and it's urgent. What he does not do is anything over the phone or computer. He won't call in refills, he doesn't do any sort of telehealth, etc. If you want something from him, you schedule an appointment and see him in the office. You talk to him in the office. You see the nurse Kelly. You get paper prescriptions at the front desk. They do referrals and insurance work on Fridays. That's how it is. If you want to see a good Dr he's your guy. If you want a modern practice, this isn't the best choice.

They started me on antipsychotics amd dropped me as a patiwmt suddenly with no regard to my safety. The receptionist also lied about me being 15 minutes late and they saw me anyway which is a blatant lie. Also I have called ams called and left messages just to be told that I never left any messages at all.

The receptionist now is awful. She never answers the phone. I called for weeks leaving voicemails saying I'm joining the military & need medical records. I never got a call back. After three weeks I sent my mom in to ask about it since I work during their office hours whom was told I just called which was a bald faced lie. Even my mom & dad both had tried to call as well. Upon going today I noted to the nurse my being upset in regards to making 22 phone calls with no return call to even tell me what I needed to do, fill out a form. She was rude telling me that is not their priority and that they have 30 days to get you the records. I responded that is fine that they have that time frame but that the inability to even return one of the many calls requesting my records to tell me what to do is an issue. It was brushed of as it was of no concern. Dr Bennet came in and gave 30 days of meds and told me to go somewhere else. I had not raised my voice or been crude.

Dr. Bennett is a horrible doctor...don’t walk, run from this man! There isn’t enough space here for me to tell you what he did and the pain his incompetence has caused my family!

Bennett treated my elderly Mother a heart issue came up while she was in hospital (very low heart rate, thyroid low) Bennett himself told us Mother would need "a pacemaker down the road" he wanted to treat thyroid issue first.....well her heart rate went down to 34, her Children decided pacemaker (after conferring with cardiologist) was needed NOW! She was sent to Midland (Bennett protested) where 2more cardiologist and an electricphysologist said it was needed NOW! Awful physician!! AVOID AVOID

He doesn't allow family in for office visits. I had to make an appointment myself to discuss my elderly father's condition of Hep C. When he was in the hospital on two seperate occasions he accused us of not taking care of him and not giving him the correct medications. He prescribes medications that other specialist ( urologists or cardiologists) should be prescribing. He does not make a recommendation to visit such docs. It is hard to say what his experiense is because he is very evasive.

Dr. Bennett did not return family members' phone calls or answer our questions about our elderly mother. His office staff were not helpful when we tried to reach him or get our questions answered. Our mother was in the hospital for weeks and he visited her only on the day of admission and the day of discharge!
