I was a bit disappointed as the visit was to find out if I had a problem with scar tissue and mesh location. Of course he ordered a scan/xray. The results were that my internal organs were clear from a growth….Nothing about the scar tissue or mesh. He then wanted to do an exploratory! Frustrating that what I went there for was not addressed.

Dr. Nelson performed my hernia surgery. He was kind , compassionate, and very professional..I will highly recommend him and should I need further treatment I will go right back to him.

Awful
This guy told me to talk to my regular doctor about my concerns in the hospital. Didn't explain anything going on, it took the discharge doctor to do that. Ultimately left the hospital and had to be evaluated twice in the same week by general practitioner. If this guy is to treat you in or out of the hospital, RUN! LEAVE! REQUEST SOMEONE DIFFERENT OR GO TO HALIFAX!

My Hernia Surgery performed by Dr Nelson through FLHC. East Coast Bariatrics performed at Advent Health Hospital Daytona Beach.My 4 star rating is based on the candor,compassion,care and concern shown to me by Dr Nelson .I also want to express my thanks and gratitude to the associates ,nurses and office team affiliated with Dr,Nelson not only at his office located at Halfax health but the surgery team at Advent Health which provided excellent pre and post operative care.My thanks to all concerned.thank you Dr.Nelson for being real and God bless .Sincerely,James Russo
