Excellent Dr.
I was very pleased with my visit with Dr. Runquist. He took time with me, not in a hurry, and I felt very good about asking questions and the answers I was given. Dr. Runquist is very personable.

I would never recommend this man!
I had an eval with him on August 3. He recommended that I have two test done. The tests were completed on Sept. 8. I was told I would have the results in 8 to 10 days. I never heard anything, so I called the office on Sept. 21 asking about the results. Was told they weren't available yet because he was out of the country for 3 weeks. On Sept 28 I received a voicemail stating my tests were normal. Then Oct. 10, received a certified letter from Dr. Runquist stating he was discharging me because of my noncompliance with his plan of treatment and the way I treated his staff. I never had a problem with his staff. I had never seen him after my eval with him on August 3, and was not given a plan of treatment. I had both test done as he suggested. Also in the letter he stated that, as you are aware you still need further medical assistance. How would I know that when a 12 days earlier I was told everything was normal. I definitely would not recommend this man.

Dr. Runquist and his staff are always friendly to both my wife and I, who've seen him for a few years now. He has always been reassuring and thoroughly explains my symptoms to me in a way that even I can understand. Overall he's a great doctor and I recommend his practice if you live in the area.

If I could give Dr. Runquist 10 (ten) stars I would. He treated my mother recently at Roper on Calhoun St. His P.A. came in to see my mother a couple times Dr. Runquist followed up immediately afterward. The care that he gave her was outstanding. He was not arrogant or condescending and took the time to make sure our family understood his treatment plan. Although he obviously has lots of patients to care for he made us feel like my mom was his only patient. Thank God for doctors like him.

Dr. Runquist is an outstanding cardiologist. He is very busy but utilizes his time well to do the important things in patient care. As a cardiologist myself, I recognize the quality of care that Dr. Runquist provides. I highly recommend him. He does outstanding work in the heart catheterization laboratory.

After several visits to Dr. Runquist's office I barely recognize him. I have seen his PA more than I have seen him. During scheduling I am told I will see Dr. Runquist. Upon my arrival am told I would see PA. However, he is seen moving about the facility conversing with staff or on the phone and does not acknowledge my presence. My last visit the PA gave me a new sample medication to help with my complaint. No patient doctor relationship. No genuine concern.
