Happy we stayed...
We are new to Georgia & this was the Dr. my mom's health plan chose for her. We were early because we knew paperwork had to be completed prior to being seen. We arrived at 10:15am for a 10:45am appointment. The paperwork was completed by the scheduled appointment time, but my mom wasn't taken to a room until 11:15am. All vitals were taken care of, an EKG as well as blood work was performed. The doctor came in & was AMAZING!!! She was thorough in her exam of my mom, informative & kind. Even though my mom has her M.A. & I hold a B.A. neither degree is in medicine or health related fields. We both were extremely happy with Dr. Addison's explanation of what she was doing, why she was performing certain tests as well as her request for a follow up visit! We both left feeling confident my mom would start feeling better soon. The ONLY issue was the wait time. No apology was given. That would've been appreciative. I'm requesting her for my PCP, ASAP!!!

Doctor visit
she is good but doesn't have the patience to listen to the problem from a patient. Didn't feel the connection to go back.

Called Dr. Addison's office to get her to prescribe a pain reliever for my 91-year-old father's severe back pain. Her nurse told me that could not be done as the clinic has a policy that the doctor has to see patients every three months. I explained that my father had seen Dr. Addison 2 1/2 months ago, and had a follow-up appointment in two weeks (which would be the three-month anniversary of the previous visit) but the nurse just kept quoting the three month rule and refused to order any pain relievers. I know that math can be difficult for some people, but understanding that 2 1/2 is less than three shouldn't be that hard for someone who presumably graduated from college and nursing school. She expressed no concern for my father's pain. My father's only method of transportation is the bus from his assisted living facility so getting in to a medical office on short notice is difficult.

In January 2020 I visited the office for my wellness checkwith my new insurance. I was amazed that the doctor had no idea as to my medical historyand just gave me the third degree. The doctor had the nursecome in and do an EKG,but the doctornever gaveme the results. The doctorattachedthe EKG reading to a referral for me to followup with a heart doctor. The doctorthen examined meforthe first time because I complained of a sore throat. The doctor had wrote a paperprescription and prescription and me to get it. The doctor then sent my other medications electronically to the pharmacy, whiich I thought was odd. The doctor then told me to come back in two weeks for a followup. When I did my followup as indicated,I noticed a demeanor with the nurse and staff. The nurse asked why are you back again? I thought the doctorprescribed medicin foryou. I replied the doctor asked me tofollowup and I also ha ve my stool samples for you,and the nurse replied bluntly put it over there! I
