Outstanding care
I recently broke a finger in an a accident. The emergency room at Piedmont referred me to Dr. Bilberw and I’m thankful that they did. Not only is she a caring profession specialist , her entire staff was supportive and caring. I had arrived at my visit with a dead phone , and I was in the middle of very important business and they even provided me a charger and charging station so that I could go into my dr visit and complete the business I had to do. In this world today , even the smallest thing can be a unsurmountable mountain of stress. Dr Bilbrew greeted me with a smile and went over my condition in detail and I left feeling assured that this too will heal. thank you to the staff and I can’t recommend them enough. There is a reason they have the reviews and ratings they have.

Excellent surgeon and so easy to communicate with!
She and her team listened and provided appropriate diagnostics and treatment. After the nerve test confirmed carpal tunnel she tried an injection. Unfortunately it didn’t work and she did surgery. We did it with a local and I only had two stitches. I highly recommend Dr Billbrew!

Continued Scared to Death
Dr. Bilbrew was very standoffish …arms folded and a very poor bedside manner to me. She didn’t seemed concerned that I may have issues mentally saying what she said without concrete evidence. I am a person who internalize things to the depths. I felt like a number and not a patient. While I would never question someone’ expertise, I will question their compassion and attention to someone’s feelings and fears. In this case, the latter was very poor. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor at all because I am so afraid to get the MRI schedule for me because of pending doom. It’s not a good feeling at all.

She's Great!
Dr. Bilbrew always listens and gives me the best advice. I am unable to get needed surgery at this time due to the fact that I cannot miss work. Dr. Bilbrew gave me injections that have helped my hands immensely until I can get the surgery. She is always friendly and speaks to you so that you understand what the situation is and how to best handle it. I have not been to another hand doctor because I am satisfied with Dr. Bilbrew. I have been seeing her for a couple of years and will continue to do so unless something changes drastically. I had to deal with four members of her staff and they were all very nice and respectful. I had trouble getting my hands right for the x-ray and they were very patient. Dr. Bilbrew is a very sharp dresser and I enjoy seeing all her outfits when I go. She looks like she is out of a magazine. An overall great experience!

Didn't listen or let me talk
Dr. Bilbrew was condescending and rude. She dismissed my concerns and would barely let me speak. Perhaps she was mad because I asked the nurse where she was while I was waiting in the exam room. My appointment was at 9am and she didn't see me until almost 10am. When I told her I thought my pain and symptoms were coming from my shoulder, she just said 'no it's not.' When I asked her how, she said 'it's just not. They're not related.' She told me that I should see my GP, that my nerve pain could be from a deficiency but she didn't know. Isn't that her job?! To find out why I'm hurting and help me? She didn't look at my shoulder at all. She also made all her decisions based on my nerve test. No MRI or other tests or examinations. Based on her attitude and unwillingness to listen or help me, I do NOT recommend her to anyone!

Personable, as well as quickly efficient
I have a broken hand; another hospital couldn't me for 4 weeks. My PCP recommended Dr. Bilbrew. Getting an appt with her was easier. All staff were pleasant and efficient, from the young lady making appts (who went the extra mile to find an appt as soon and close as possible) to Dr. Bilbrew. Vitals taken, new xrays taken from several angles, and then Dr. Bilbrew came in. She said my drugstore brace was fine, keep wearing it for two weeks, no surgery was needed, come back in 2 weeks. Appt made and I was out the door, and was impressed.

Dementia parent with knee problems
My mom has dementia and suffers with chronic knee pain and swelling. Dr. Bilbrew is always kind and patient with her. Even though my mom does not understand what Dr. Bilbrew is saying, Dr. Bilbrew speaks to her like she does. This is especially rare as most doctors speak to me without recognizing my mom.

Knee Pain Appointment
Well, I believe that first impressions are lasting impressions. And, my first impression wasn’t a good one, because after arriving at the office, the receptionist barely acknowledged me. Didn’t ask, “How can I help?”, or at tell me, “I’ll be right with you.”. I just stood there for a few minutes until she told me to sign in, and then she went back to doing what she thought was more important than me standing there. So, I waited there patiently for another 5 minutes until she decided to ask me if I had an appointment. And, during the whole time I was being ignored, there were other people walking around laughing and joking in the background as if I weren’t even there.Anyway, once I was called back to be seen, everything went smoothly. Although, I felt a little rushed, because it was around 12:00, which was probably their lunch hour.Oh well! I guess I can’t have it all.

Office vusit
My first visit with Dr. Bilbrew. I am certain she is a smart and good doctor. However, I felt rushed and wasn’t able to ask many questions. This was my first visit, so I had more questions. She didn’t ask if I had any questions. She was in the exam room 4-5 minutes. And prescribed medications. I like to be educated on my condition. I had to mention the medication I am currently on so that there won’t be any contraindications. I wondered if she had read my chart. I will give her another chance.
