I saw Dr. Bianchi at NorthShore in 2021 and I still remember how horrible she acted towards me. She had the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. I came home in tears after the appointment.

First Review I have ever written
Because this must be said. I am told Dr. Laura Bianchi is the best, but she & her office are too busy to actually help her patients. She is doing them a terrible disservice & I am certain many others are suffering as am I. She is too busy & is neither caring nor compassionate. Messages on northshore connect & phone calls are not returned by anyone in her office for weeks if at all. Tests are scheduled for a year after they are recommended. Orders for therapy are put in to the wrong department at the hospital. The entire practice is in chaos. I know that many doctors are very overbooked these days, but this office is worse than any of them. And one waits a year to see the doctor & gets seen by people in her office who are useless in the interim.

The worst doctor I’ve ever seen
She was rude, cut me off, continuously reprimanded me (even for texting my mom to let her know I made it to my apt okay), and was insulting and dismissive. I’ve seen many doctors for chronic illness but never had such an aggressively rude and unprofessional physician. She immediately was standoffish and clearly had no interest in helping my case. I am still in shock at her horrible bedside manner. Please do not see her or send your loved ones to her. There’s a reason her reviews are so terrible. I hope she sees this and knows she made a sick person’s day that much worse.

Just had a colonoscopy today. I went to her because she did a fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. As I had an unsuccessful one last year, she gave specific advise for the prep work. She is very professional and pleasant. She explained the results and offered appropriate advice. She is exactly what anyone would want in a gastroenterologist.

I am a 62 year old female who just had an endoscopy/colonoscopy with Dr. Bianchi. She was a new gastro to me and I could not have felt more at ease and well cared for. I felt she really understood women's issues and was most competent in every way. She gives each patient a little lavender pillow to take home!!! How sweet is that!! I highly recommend this doctor to anyone.
