Never See this Dr, She earned her 2 stars, NOT
Rude, and unprofessional, and didn't have the sense to ask me what medications I was on as my referring chart was not accurate. I've had 11 spinal surgeries, 13 fusions, a total reverse shoulder replacement, and 30 years worth of physical therapy. After sitting for 2 hours waiting on her all she cared about was 'dirty' urine, which was not dirty. She offered me vitamins for 60% spinal stenosis top and bottom for neuropathy, and severe permanent nerve damage. The next day I brought in my missing from my chart, the prescriptions were mostly full bottles but dated past usual use dates as they were PRN. Dr. instead of apologizing after I wrote her supervisor, wrote a nasty threatening letter to me. I'd mention the 'M' word but she wasn't worth it. Just turn them in to the Board of Medicine instead. Referred by an excellent UC Neurologist. The pain Dr. cared about one thing, gotcha. Did I mention I was an addiction therapist for 20 years, the last place I wanted to be? This Dr. run!

Very good pain doctor, listens well
Dr. Devita listens well and I feel she does a great job. She never rushes me-she always asks pertinent questions, sometimes reminding me of what I was going to say or ask. I have a pain, that no one can figure out the cause of-but she never makes me feel like I am just making things up. She is under a lot of rules related to narcotics and follows those protocols, but I understand that she has to. I have never felt like the care I have received was interrupted or not cared for. I have appreciated the fact that she has tried many things to help me stay more comfortable including nerve block and lidocaine patches.

Very good pain doctor, listens well – Feb 06, 2024

The worst
One of the worst doctors I’ve ever encountered. Condescending, arrogant manor. Extremely unprofessional. Saw her monthly and and had to re-explain my issues every time. She doesn’t listen and makes you feel like you’re just one more box to check. I truly don’t think she cares at all if her patients are improving or not. There are MANY better pain doctors out there. Avoid this one, for sure.

Great results!
I have been going to Dr. Devita for Years, getting steroid injections in my lower spine and cervical spine for stenosis and pain. I have been perfectly happy. Never wanted to go to any other pain management doctor.

Wish I could give zero stars
She didn't listen at all. She's extremely judgemental!! I have AVN, a bone disorder that's extremely painful with no real treatment or cure. Her answer was to refer me to a pain psychologist!!! It's not in my head, it's in my bones!! And that appt took almost 2 months to schedule. She said see ya in 12 weeks. I'll NEVER go back.

Very rude. Terrible bedside manner. Treated me as if she was above me as a patient. Didn’t address my actual issue just pushed meds that had nothing to do with pain reliving. Got an injection which then gave me sciatica, so not only did I still have the problem I went in with but I know have an issue that they caused and isn’t doing anything to address it. Save you time, money, and sanity!
