Doesn't listen.
Two visits with her and I'm done. She talks over you, doesn't give you time to respond and when you do get to speak she doesn't listen. Didn't listen to my stomach issues or notice the cyst encompasssing 60% of my liver on the ultrasound report. Instead talked about fatty food and my gallbladder. Five months later, when the symptoms continued to worsen, got another opinion and a referral to a surgeon. When I messaged her she insist it wasn't large enough to warrant follow-up unless I had symptoms. She didn't listen to anything I said. Also, my annual women's exam (100% covered by insurance) turned into a $400 out of pocket visit.

I called her because I needed relief from pain. I was unable to get to urgent care because the pain was severe and moving increased the pain to intense and at times excruciating (moaning and shaking). I had requested a muscle relaxant. In a written response, she refused to prescribe it and suggested that I address the problem when I came in to see her PA the following week. Then she closed that channel of communication so I could not reply to her essentially leaving me to deal with the pain on my own.

My elderly mother was a patient of Dr. Labonte for a number of years. She went to her after her beloved doctor retired. The transition had the potential to be difficult. Instead, it was perfect. Dr. Labonte was a dream. She listened carefully, addressed my mother directly and was careful about ordering too many invasive procedures. I felt that she, as well as all of her staff, were very caring confident and professional in all of the interactions with my mother. It was a great fit. She took care of her up to the end. Well done!

Very cold
She was so cold and made me feel terrible about myself and my weight. She spend no time with me and turns out I had a thyroid issue she never overlooked. Sent me to a special for my liver and the specialist ask “why are you here”? Would not recommend her to anyone who thinks they need medical attention in any way.
