A doctor we can trust
Dr. Morrison was our OBGYN for the past seven years through three pregnancies. She's very kind and considerate, listening to the patient and explaining things well and clearly, and no doubt about her expertise. I have to admit that sometimes scheduling an in-person with her is a bit tricky - I saw the same issue with other providers in the area, but Dr. Morrison offered a teleconference to us and addressed our concerns timely. I'm surprised by the negative reviews here and so I decided to leave mine.

Best OBGYN
Dr. Morrison is easily the best doctor I’ve ever had oversee my care and the care of my unborn children. She is patient, knowledgeable, thorough, consistent and genuinely cares about her patients and their well-being. I have seen many other OBGYNs/midwives during hospital stays and while the majority of them have their unique qualities none have ever been as exceptional as she is. For example, I had complications right after pregnancy and called the office explaining what was happening and they had me come to the ER. While I was there she happened to be on L&D that night and took the time to come to the ER to check on me and had also been communicating with the ER doctor that night to correct the issue. That was going above and beyond and shows her dedication and level of care towards her patients. I moved away from the Portland area several years ago and have still continued my care with her during her career move because there is NO ONE I trust more to care for me and my children

Delivered my twins
The 2nd time I had met Dr. Morrison, I was just told I was expecting twins. She settled my nerves and was able to relate. She made me feel comfortable, and excited about what was to come. I was transferred to high risk for a while then returned to see her. All good experiences. She also was on call in the ER when I delivered my boys & it was great to actually have your doctor deliver your kids, especially in an emergency. Very grateful for her care and expertise during it all.

At one point she referred to me as "hefty." She also scoffed at me when I asked her about IUD's and whether they had been properly medically tested. She also said "I'm the doctor. I think I am the most knowledgeable about the subject." Overall, I felt talked down to and treated like an inconvenience the whole time I was in the office.

Everything was fine, except for the fact that I felt like she talked down to me and acted as if I didn’t know anything. Her attitude sucked and I am not going to see her again.

This was my first visit with Dr. Morrison. I found her very personable and open to answering all of my questions about my test results and follow-up procedures. Because it took so long to get my initial appointment scheduled, she invited me to work directly with her to avoid delays -- and, in fact, scheduled my follow-up appointment while I was still with her in exam room.

This was my first visit with Dr. Morrison and admittedly was a little apprehensive after seeing the other reviews but I have to say she is fantastic!!! Very friendly, personable, down to earth and made me feel comfortable for what is not usually a comfortable visit. She spent plenty of time with me answering questions and talking so I did not feel rushed at all. I am very happy with the care I received from her and the rest of the staff and am glad that she is my new ob/gyn.

The doctor always seemed too busy. Even when I had to go to the ER, the doctor did not call, or check. I felt like she never cared and that I was just a source of income.
