Dr. Laura O'Malley, MD

I am in healthcare and have had my share of Doctor visits. She by far is the best I have ever had.

Dr O’Malley was my doctor for many years ever since she joined IMA. Over the years I referred her to many people because of the level of time and care she took with me at every visit. Sadly, I can no longer refer her to anyone and I will no longer be a patient with her or IMA. Even though I like her as a person, my last 3 years as her patient has been underwhelming. The appointments are always rushed and there has been a lack of knowledge, organization and overall care when it came to helping me with my complex medical issues. I originally chose to go to an internal medicine practice because of my complicated health problems. Internal medicine drs tend to take more time and care in general. That is no longer the case here. Dr O’Malley is now choosing to practice under a concierge model going forward, which is basically cash-based. She is no longer taking regular insurance-covered patients, which is probably a good idea. Sad to write this review, because I wrote the exact opposite about her several years ago. Now I am having to start over in a new practice with a new doctor.

Competent and makes you feel like you are the only patient she has. Have never once felt like I was on a limited time slot. One of the warmest people I know.

Dr. O'Malley is an amazing doctor. She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate, with a great bedside manner. She refers you to terrific specialists, calls to follow up on care, schedules follow-up appointments to ensure your care is thorough, and never rushes appointments. I would highly recommend her.

Dr. O’Malley is the best PCP I have ever had. No matter what my issue is, she finds a way to solve it. She is so thorough and knowledgeable! If it’s something that isn’t in her wheel house, she points you to the right doctor or specialist whose is. She is so easy to talk to and treats me like one of her own. So thankful to have a Dr. I am so comfortable with and confident in. Their office is very nice, clean & welcoming. They offer on-site lab testing which makes things SO much easier. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. Thank you Dr. O’Malley & IMA for making going to the doctor stress free!

Dr O’Malley has been the finest doctor I have seen for years. She cares for each patient in a kind and understanding way. She “listens” and spends the necessary time to come up with a treatment plan.

Dr. O'Malley has been great provider and always responsive and attentive to my needs. Unfortunately this third year as her patient I have had heinous customer service from the Internal Medicine of AZ billing dept. They yelled and cussed at me over the phone and refused to call my insurance to verify reported miscoded claims. They threatened to remove me as a patient and misrepresented billing issues as mistrust in the provider. The manager even stated they dislike Aetna insurance.

Tied for best Doctor I've ever had. Never thought I'd find a doctor I liked as much as the doctor I had in Seattle, I feel so lucky to have Dr. O'Malley as my PCP. On a scale of 1-10 she's a 12.

I truly cannot say enough about Dr. O'Malley. She is one of the most comprehensive and caring doctors that I have ever seen. The practice itself is truly on its A game.
