Dr. Laura Reinertson, MD

Recently I was informed that I needed my cataracts removed. Normally I use the VA doctors since I am retired Navy. My normal primary care VA doctor was on vacation for 2 weeks and the VA could not support my needs. So I contacted my Insurance company qnd they gave Dr Harris as a point of contact. I called and made an appointment. Although I did not see Dr Harris, the first appointment went well. The Lady I spoke to listened to my problem, reassured me they could help and ordered lab work. Second visit, not so well. Again I did not see Dr Harris, instead, the same Lady, informed they could not approve my surgery, due to high blood count. She did not have My A1C yet. Instead of talking to me and trying to find a solution to my problem, she dismissed me and told me to find someone else. My scheduled surgery was in 16 days, not clear why she just dismissed me.

Absolutely. Dr. Reinertson has the most unique bedside manner with her, seemingly casual yet expert analysis of the patient's medical maladies. Saying she is thorough is an understatement. Unlike so many physicians, she takes her time and immerses herself in every aspect of her patients' care. My entire career was spent in the medical field and I have worked with and know many physicians and their individual work ethic. Without a doubt, I put Dr. Reinertson at the very top of the list. No question. Take my word for it.....you will be reassured and comforted as much as my wife is, knowing you're being treated by a knowledgeable, personable, genuinely caring professional.

She is very smart, she knows what she's doing, she is very well educated. Five stars.
