I have seen Dr. Shepherd for many years. When she moved to Gainesville, I decided the 100+ mile drive each way was worth it. She's my favorite doctor. Kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. I consider her a friend.

I have with Dr Shepherd for about 11 years. Originally while she was in PTC,Ga., following her to Gainsville. I live in Newnan and only see about every 6 months so the hour plus drive is worth it. I suffer from several different things and visit 5 different types doctors for the last 65 years. She is the best doctor I have ever seen. She has become like friend.

My mother has been seeing Dr. Shepherd at the North GA Diagnostic Clinic in Gainesville for four years, since age 89. Unlike some other practitioners, Dr. Shepherd has always made a point of talking directly WITH Mom vs. talking ABOUT her with whoever in the family is there. Mom's kidney functions are not deteriorating - they IMPROVED within the first 6-months and Ist year and have remained stable. Mom has several chronic conditions; Dr. Laura coordinates well with all other practitioners.
