Rushed and disrespectful
Dr. Wolfe is clearly burned out. Make sure you’re at least 15 minutes early for your appointment so that you can wait on her and not vice versa. She accused our former GI doctor of being lazy which I found unprofessional. We will not be going back here for care. I am a physician myself and embarrassed by the lack of empathy she displays towards patients.

Highly recommend Dr. Wolfe
Dr. Wolfe and her staff were very kind. They listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I actually came a fair distance to see her as I had a positive experience with her before. I highly recommend her.

I found Dr Wolfe to be very helpful and caring. She went out of her way to help me by fitting me into her very busy schedule and to listen to my problem and then to take action to take care of it.

Frightening experience
I was recommended to this practice and the only doc available was Laura Wolfe. She ordered a series of expensive, unnecessary tests, was abrupt and condescending. I had to practically beg for an endoscopy. At the procedure, she wouldn’t even acknowledge me. She completely misdiagnosed my condition. Horrible experience.

I don't recommend Dr. Wolfe. She seems really caring and professional at first, but she neglected to give me some important information about a procedure I was scheduled for and the effects of the medication I would be taking. I didn't have the necessary information to give true informed consent. It was a negative experience that could have been avoided. When I called her afterwards with my concerns, she didn't return my call for a week and a half and was defensive and unhelpful. She seems rushed and as though she is more concerned about getting patients in and out as quickly as possible than she is about providing quality care. Again, she seems nice at first but wait until you try to reach her by phone, or ask for real answers, and she will show her true colors quickly.

Went to Dr. Laura Wolfe because i have severe acid reflux, since going through chemotherapy 6 years prior. Had begun having nasea, a perpetual cough & other issues that seemed as though they might be related. She agree to an upper endoscopy, only because I hadn’t had one before & otherwise was dismissive & unconcerned with my symptoms. After pursuing my concerns with other medical providers, I now know my breast cancer has metastasized. I can only wonder if this would have been found sooner, if she would have shown the slightest bit of concern. Instead she was dismissive & lacked any curiosity to discover the underlying issue or even speak about result from the tests, My GP recommended someone else in their office. She was the first available. I now know why.

I am an RN who has worked in critical care medicine and so I have some experience with medical professionals. I have seen Dr. Wolfe on four or five occasions - she performed an EGD, as well as office visits. She is warm and caring in her demeanor. She really listens and explains her thinking. She does not give up. One of the best I've encountered.

After reading some of these reviews I was abit reluctant and skepical about seeing Dr. Wolfe. However, my experience with her, across the board, was exemplary. She greeted me in the waiting room and then demonstrated focused caring, asked appropriate questions, and gave undersatndable and full explanations with a friendly, knowledgeable and professional attitude. Her physical exam was kind and professional. At the end of the appointmnet, she walked me to the scheduling desk and shook my hand.

My biggest issue with this practice is their lack of disclosure of pricing. They need to adjust with the system that is in place where the patient bears most of the financial responsibility with high deductibles. I don't buy anything without an advance price. There are plenty of providers that don't accept insurance that are transparent in their pricing.

Not an office visit. She saw me in the hospital. Her initial diagnosis of colon cancer turned out to be incorrect after review of biopsy results. This left me in state of panic and depression through the Thanksgiving holiday. Her manner was rude, curt, and insensitive. The rating really should be zero stars!

Dr. Wolfe saved my life. She caught my rectal cancer after I had to nearly beg for a colonoscopy. She was surprised to say the least since I am only 46. However, we owe some money to them. I have an issue I need to get checked out due to my history of rectal cancer. I payed our outstanding bill except for 300 bucks. They refuse to see me and will not allow me to have an appointment. I have had cancer 2 times in the last two years. How can any doc hold a patients health hostage?
