Excellent, well educated and respectful

Wouldn't consider parent concerns
Dr. Alsentzer took over for our pediatrician who retired. My kids are older and had established relationships with our former pediatrician. She knew them since birth and listened to all our concerns as parents. My two older kids have ADHD diagnoses. My youngest started exhibiting signs of ADHD once he got to 5th grade last year. He's at a magnet school and is extremely challenged by that academic environment after his last two years of elementary school being a total mess during Covid quarantine. I know my children well and am not a worrier. But when I brought up concerns of ADHD and even autism (high functioning), Dr. Alsentzer completely dismissed it. She wouldn't even consider assessing him. The school psychologist did her own evaluation as well as his teachers and determined that he is very much struggling with attention deficits. Needless to say, we're switching to a new doctor.

The BEST bedside manner with my girls. Really knows how to talk to my children and make them comfortable as well as great communication with me. I love how she cared enough to address my child's acne without prompting. She is a caring physician and takes her time with us.

I would not go back to Dr. Alsentzer. I felt like she was very rude and judgmental in her assessment of my baby. She also did not seem very nurturing of my child. I love both Dr. Long and Keffer in the practice but will make sure never to go back to Dr. Alsentzer.
