wish I had left this doctor sooner
A friend of mine left this doctor due to dissatisfaction, and now I have left this doctor as well. I only wish I had made the decision sooner.

Dr. Acinapura listens and asks good questions. She is open to suggestions and likes to confirm her findings (or mine) with a test or two generally. She is very good and caring.

Dr. Acinapura is a great doctor. I saw her once many years before my insurance changed and l was dropped as a patient. My second schedule visit was postponed because l was 10mins late. My last scheduled appointment was cancelled because my insurance changed. I got my old insurance back but have been unable to book an appointment. The reception is incredibly rude, l was told they could not book an appointment until she ok'd it, they would call back. Never heard from them. I contacted their management office no one got back to me. I don't know why l can't make an appointment. My insurance company contacted via mail to tell me she is the PCP they chose for me, irony? I will try again because it's hard to find a good doctor. But, l am disgusted by this office and their pretentious attitude.

YOU CANNOT GET SOMEONE ON THE PHONE! So Dr Acinapura might be good, but I have no way of knowing that. I’ve met her once, for less than 5 minutes. Every time I’ve gone to the doctors office I’ve had a different resident assist me. I’ve NEVER seen the same doctor twice, and I have no “relationship” with anyone who works there. I’ve been waiting on the phone for 25 minutes to get a referral that I was promised they were taking care of last week. There are thousands of doctors in New York, don’t waste your time with one who doesn’t prioritize your health and your time. Additionally, they typically run behind at the office and you experience substantial wait times.

Dr. Lauren as I call her is a wonderful doctor although very busy most times. She has been my doctor for years. Only thing is make sure u get there on time or before since she is very busy and can only help u with any medical issues that need time explaining.

Dr Acinapura is awesome! She's incredibly thorough and takes the time to really listen to you. I am actually switching my insurance (b/c I lost mine previously) so I can continue with her.
