If I could give that whole place a ZERO, I would!!
Very disappointing.....All she told me was I have PTSD and put me on an anti-depressant. None caring, just horrible. I would suggest, not going there at all!!!!

Smart, compassionate
Dr. Bonner is smart, compassionate and knows her medicine. She offers virtual visits and is prompt when refills are needed. I would view any negative reviews with a 'grain of salt', as she is a psychiatrist and works with many types of patients with mental health diseases- addiction, schizophrenia. I have not been in the office, but the virtual appts are easy. One issue is the web portal doesn't have billing or other information uploaded.

She is a nightmare liar in my opinion. Disturbing first visit and I will NEVER go back! She is condescending, arrogant and didn’t listen to me at all. Accused me of unfounded accusations. And a urine test before my appointment?! Unacceptable all around.

Without knowing my history (which includes encephalitis, traumas, medication poisoning), Bonner told me she would diagnose me with paranoid schizophrenia. Paranoid sz is no longer even an accepted diagnosis. Bonner spoke past me to my parents. When I told her about a complex trauma that recently happened, she basically told me to shut up and take my pills because life isn't fair. I'm pretty aware by now life isn't fair or I wouldn't be a mental patient, but I'm seeking personalized treatment for my own real problems, not brisk platitudes. Every opinion of other professionals I have worked with was dismissed. Because of my parents presence, I was unable to tell some trauma details. Even the most amateur psych would not talk over a patient's report in favor of parents without knowing the situation. In an industry where what the patient tells you is what you have to work with, why not listen first, and only after is it appropriate to flood the patient with anecdotes and advice.

She was rude, condescending and uncompassionate. She cancelled the same appointment on me three times. She made comments about my weight which was uncalled for. She said the most unprofessional psychiatrist I've ever been to and I've been seeing psychiatrists since I've been 12. I switched offices after 2 visits.
