Excellent experience
Dr. Macaluso made us feel supported and understood and helped provide beneficial evidence based education to help my family facilitate lactation and breastfeeding in a way that works well for us and provided guidance in a nonjudgmental manner. She was incredibly warm and supportive.

Best experience!
Dr. Macaluso is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I learned so much as a first time mom on best practices with breastfeeding and other things to look out for in my newborn. I really recommend seeing her even if you don't have any trouble with breastfeeding, because there is so much to know. I am glad I was referred to her!

Highly Recommend
Highly recommend a visit with Dr. Macaluso to address any of your breastfeeding questions or struggles. Dr. Macaluso and her staff go above and beyond to create a comfortable and supportive environment for your visit. During my visits I have always felt listened to and that my feelings and opinions were taken into consideration when making recommendations. As someone who first entered her office back in 2021 on the fence between breastfeeding and exclusively pumping, I never felt judged or pushed to make a certain decision, but rather was provided with evidence based facts and strategies to support whatever journey I decided to embark on. Three years later I am back with my second child and continue to feel supported and encouraged to do what’s best for my child and myself.

Dr. Macaluso is a rare find. Not only is she an expert on breastfeeding, she is also a pediatrician. She gives you her fullest attention for over an hour to evaluate your breastfeeding method and to ensure your baby is getting enough from breastfeeding alone. Your baby is weighed before and after a feeding. She is extremely patient and never rushed in her office visits. I wish I had a professional like her when I had my first child. I'm so thankful to have found her for my second child!!

Dr. Macaluso came highly recommended by my pediatrician for help with nursing my newborn daughter. We got an appointment right away and she spent over an hour with us; she is very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. She put me at ease and has continued to be accessible for subsequent questions and concerns by phone. She's great!
