Dr. Lauren Nguyen, MD

Amazing office across the board. Always fast, efficient and extremely thorough care. I feel heard and never pressured which isn’t always the norm. She actually remembers her patients as well. I have four completely different minions and they all love coming to the Doctor. I personally love that I don’t spend my life waiting in the lobby. When I made an apt, I get seen at my apt time. Staff works with my schedule, etc and are always amazing to deal with. Can’t say enough great things. So grateful I came here on a friends recommendation.

This visit was a long time ago, when my daughter was an infant. This doctor prescribed medicine for a diaper rash, but my daughter had a different type of infection. The medicine made the problem ten times worse; my baby was in pain. She could have suggested for us to take my child to a dermatologist. Instead, she belittled me and provided no solution. Being a first-time parent is hard as is; I am glad I decided to take my baby to a dermatologist, and this doctor was able to help the situation in just 24 hrs. After that, we chose a different pediatrician. However, this pediatrician is no longer working, while looking for a new pediatrician, I realized this doctor did not change her way of working with children and communicating with parents.

Dr Nguyen is one of the best doctors I've ever encountered. Our daughter was born with unilateral hearing loss and she was extremely pro active in seeking solutions and programs for us. She is highly intelligent and talks very fast so have your notepad ready. If you find she "lacks a pleasant disposition" you need to drop your ego and listen to her, she is not there to make you feel good, she is there to ensure your kid is healthy above all. Having said that though, she was never anything but pleasant. Maybe we're not the type of parents that think they know better than a professional from their google searches.

Possibly the worse Dr. a parent can take his/her precious child to. She has no bedside manner and simply does not care. Dr. Nguyen is fine if your child doesn't have any medical problems because she is fine with the routine check-ups. Anything more than simple check-up she does not measure up or care. My child was in the hospital almost a week due to Dr. Nguyen's negligence and she never even called to see what was going on or to check on my child. If you have another option, stay away from her.

Where do I even start? I would give "Dr." Lauren 0 stars if I could, let's start there. She is everything you would not expect a professional medical expert to be. She talks down to you, belittles you, is demeaning, condescending, and just plain unprofessional. I once had to personally insist my son get a chest x-ray after 3 months of flu-like symptoms because she claimed we were being too paranoid. They found he had bronchitis.

She is very knowledgeable and kind. I have three daughters Dr. Nguyen has been the best Pediatrician we have had.

Avoid ever making an appointment with Dr. Lauren Nguyen because she doesn?t have the social skills a parent would expect from a pediatrician. She lacks a pleasant disposition, tact, and common sense and prefers to hear herself speak rather than listen, is aggressive, and self-righteous.
