only OK. Baby got delivered safe and sound - and I am grateful for that. However, I wish I could have found a better practice as I believe my birth would have been less traumatic with a different Dr. Bedside manner was less than caring. Also, I was told to push for a ridiculous amount of time, well before baby was ready, which resulted in some pelvic floor prolapse that could have been avoided. When I went in to the dr. to ask about what i suspected was prolapse, i was told they weren't sure what it was and was sent to a male urologist who mostly deals with prostates. It was a huge waste of time - not what you need when you have a young baby and are concerned about your health. I did my own research and found a urogynocologist who was MUCH better suited to help me. It really bothers me that my obgyn a. had me push so much that it caused a lasting injury b. had no idea what the injury was even though it is well within the knowledge of an obgyn c. didn't refer me to a urogynocologist.
