If this is the same Laurence DeShields who works at Sovah hospital in Danville, Virginia, be it known that he is not a very good doctor. He bypass the patient's concerns and just focus on what he wants to do whether it is helping the patient or not. And he loves to order & order & order unnecessary repeated x-rays daily. In the meantime, the patient gets worse rather than better. Oh! He also has a bad habit of overloading his patients with IV fluid that causes more serious health issues like Edema all over the body. Than if family members or patient complains Dr. DeShields has the stupid nerves to blame the Edema on the patient!!!!! I feel from my observation, Dr. DeShields is not skilled enough to be working in a hospital. Between him & the hospital lousy food, the patients will die, if patients aren't smart enough to get the hell out of Sovah hospital before that happens.
