Dr. Laurence Levine, MD

Dr Levine and Gia Ugo, PA are amazing. When Gina left, however, the quality of care and especially the office management diminished. I received testopel Treatments from Gina. When Gina left they had a fellow do my treatments with awkward people skills and poor procedural skills. The wound stayed open for 3 to 4 mos, with testopel tabs breaking off and coming out. the procedure was miscoded costing me 1800 USD. The office manager was rarely in the office, nor accessible by phone. I made call after call etc. No resolution. Next up, new fellow, with better skills, though infantilizing demeanor; This time no preauthorization. Now I am on the hook for 3800 USD. I have been with this office for almost 20 years and they send me to collections. I have moved on to a new urologist. Caveat emptor.

I can not begin to describe what a extraordinarily talented surgeon Dr. Levine is! He is professional, tremdously skilled, patient, understanding and compassionate. All of the qualities you want in a surgeon that you are placing your quality of life in the hands of. He operated on me last week and I am exceptionally pleased with the outcome of my surgery. His personable bedside manor is amazing. He is reassuring and patient with questions. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. I feel incredibly lucky to have him as my urologist and surgeon.

Dr. Levine did an amazing job operating on me, to allow me to regain peace in my life. He is an extremely highly skilled surgeon; who cares tremendously for the physical and mental well-being of his patients.

Dr Levine is the closest thing to a miracle worker we have. He did a fantastic job. Gina is PA is absolutely fantastic as well. I worked with 2 other urologists and they both felt uncomfortable with the procedure and one of them referred me over to Dr Levine. He had warned me that Dr Levine was very busy and may not be able to help me but wanted me to get him as a 2nd (or in this case 3rd opinion). Dr Levine was a no nonsense doctor but also made me feel very comfortable and was very personable so i was immediately confident in anything he recommended. The procedure was called: release of a buried phallus and a year later, I’m quite literally a new man. Him and his staff were very patient with me during my hospital stay as well as all the follow-up appointments. My other doctors were shocked by the outcome and I’m sure is part of the reason he is held in such high regards. All of my docs seemed to have known him by reputation since my surgery. Absolutely top notch doctor.

Great experience with Dr Levine for Hydrocele Aspiration and Sclerotherapy. One treatment and two months later completely resolved without surgery. Not sure why this treatment is not the "go-to" for hydroceles given the complications of surgery. Dr Levine is without-doubt a leader in this treatment. Time will tell if this recurs, but so far, I am 100% satisfied.

In 2018, at 53, I was diagnosed with Peyronie's disease. As a result, I had a 60 degree curve, which meant sex was nearly impossible. Depression set in. I tried a gimmicky treatment called low intensity shock wave therapy, but that did nothing but cost $300 a session. Finally, I decided to research surgical treatments and began reading technical papers regarding surgery. This is where I came across Dr. Levine as he had published tons of papers on surgical treatment. Thankfully he was in-network. In November 2020, I underwent plaque excision and grafting. I'm happy to report Dr. Levine and his incredibly competent and caring team corrected the curve. I continue to use post-surgical traction to re-establish length, but it is as straight as it was pre-Peyronie's, and functions great. To say Dr. Levine gave me my life back is an understatement. Peyronie's isn't just a physical affliction, it's pure hell on your psyche. Don't suffer in silence. Call Dr. Levine.

HE DESTROYED MY BODY. How is this man still allowed to practice?! All of his good reviews, are 'planned' from colleagues. Please someone do something. I visited him out of desperation. He was hostile, mean, and did a rudimentary 'test' on me. Then, decided then and there, I needed experimental surgery. The surgery destroyed my pelvic/groin region, and now my testicle is destroyed. He didn't even have a record of my surgery. He is butchering patients! Please God someone stop this guy.

Chronic Testicular pain appointment: Not a great experience. He seems knowledgeable in the field, has written several articles on this diagnosis. He gave lots of options, and was open to discussing them with me in the room. Downside, he basically came into the room knowing what he was going to prescribe, and didn't really listen to my concerns when I expressed them.

Dr. Levine treated me for chronic pain successfully. Talented & gifted Doctor!

This man destroyed my life. My testicle is evidence. If I could hate as a Christian, I would. But I cannot, for God leadeth me.

Dr Levine performed surgery on me in January 2019, with phenomenal results. Dr Levine gave me a new lease on life, and I feel like a new man! Dr. Levine is a consummate professional..........kind, attentive, very patient,and an outstanding Doctor and surgeon. I feel fortunate to have him as my Doctor. One of the best physicians I have met in my life. Dr. Levine is very comforting, takes time to listen to his patient's concerns, and is very thorough. The appointment was not rushed and his staff was very friendly and accomodating. He even took the time to call back with follow up questions I had. I had surgery on 12/5/19 with Dr Levine and feel extremely lucky to have used him. I believe he is an expert at what he does. He has a enormous amount of experience and when he ran into some complications, he handled them with ease. Thanks for everything Dr. Levine!

I have had sclerotherapy performed twice for spermatoceles by Dr. Levine. Nearly all urologists in the U.S. will only perform surgery for this condition. I found a medical research article by Dr. Levine indicating that he had performed many of these treatments and was compiling data on the results. I called his office and he graciously called me back and explained to me the process involved and what to expect. While painful for a few hours afterward, the procedure only takes about 15 minutes after local anesthesia is applied. Next day, the pain is gone. Compared to the trauma of surgery, this procedure is a no-brainer. Add to that the fact that this treatment costs about one-tenth of surgery and I am baffled why anyone would choose surgery over this procedure. Surgery should definitely be the last choice for this condition. I am glad I found a forward-thinking urologist like Dr. Levine. I really enjoyed his doctor-patient manner. I definitely recommend him.

Prompt, insightful and full of knowledge. Always makes sure that I know what I need to know and all of my options, so that I will make an informed decision for me. His staff is marvelous, courteous helpful and supportive.

Dr. Laurence Levine has been taking care of me for upwards of 15 years. He has always treated me very well. Years ago, after a biopsy when I had difficulty leaving the building without being overcome with nausea, he provided me with a place to lie down for a couple of hours while the nausea passed. During a brief period when I was in the midst of changing primary care providers, he once renewed some prescriptions for me. The results from a green laser surgery he performed were extremely beneficial, much more so than I had expected. Years later he performed a resection of the prostate which also had positive results. He returned to me a check that I had sent along with my written concerns, rather than accept any compensation for his time in reading them. He is willing to listen and explain. I have utmost confidence in him. His staff have been competent and easy to communicate with. I recommended him to a colleague from my office. Dr. Levine has treated me very well.

Dr. Levine has been a tremendous help to me in resolving Peyronie's Disease and ED issues. He and his assistant, Gina, are extremely professional; they made me feel comfortable and very educated about my condition and the possible solutions. I couldn't be happier with the results!

He, his fellow, and his PA were all very personable. The situation wasn't exactly comfortable, but they made sure we knew our options, knew the procedure, and explained everything very well. We'd go back to him in the future for sure.
