Dr. Laurice Bou Nemer, MD

Dr. Bou Nemer was very thorough and attentive. I’ve had multiple miscarriages which made the journey difficult but I always appreciated that she would be very direct on setting realistic expectations, but still doing so in a very compassionate and human way. She always went out of her way to ensure I felt comfortable and had all the information that I needed.

Dr. Bou Nemer put me on thyroid medication prior to starting egg retrieval, which prompted my asking why, as my TSH, T3, T4 level was within range. Her response was ‘it will help your baby’s brain grow’. I was not pregnant, nor did I become pregnant for years after leaving her management. After asking for anecdotal advice from work specialists and other IVF patients did I come to learn that they want a tighter TSH level for patients undergoing IVF. Not only was I not successful with her prescribed protocol for IVF, I was insulted by her telling me thyroid meds were for “baby’s brain growth”, as there was no baby for years after leaving her care. This was not an appropriate response from a board certified physician… And I was not successful with her IVF protocol. She advised another round of IVF, and stated she did everything possible and would repeat the same exact protocol and meds without any change. I changed clinics and have since been successful with my IVF journey.

Dr.BouNemer is an excellent fertility doctor who is knowledgeable and compassionate . She guides you every step of the way. IVF Florida was also excellent and state of the art. I always felt like I was in good hands. Thanks to Dr.Bou Nemer and her team I am currently pregnant with my first baby boy.

Had an amazing experience with Dr. Bou Nemer. She was specifically recommended to me by my primary OBGYN given our issues conceiving. After my initial consult and going through all the required pre-steps, we came up with a plan. I felt like the plan was tailored to our infertility diagnosis, and Dr. Bou Nemer explained in detail the plan options and why she was starting out with IUI vs. IVF. She also explained that after 3 rounds of IUI, we could consider IVF. Unfortunately the 3 rounds of IUI were not successful, so we did another virtual consult with Dr. Bou Nemer to discuss IVF in depth, during which she answered all my questions and explained how our protocol would be tailored to our infertility issues again. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Bou Nemer do my egg retrieval and my transfer, which I thought was special.
