Dr. Laurie Chen, MD

Dr. Chen is an excellent doctor. I was having some issues with my white blood count and she make sure to run the necessary test to rule out or find out what causes that. she took all the necessary action to make sure that you have the proper care.

She didn't make another appointment with me. Am I to continue seeing her? Other than changing the amount of Prednisone I take based on the weekly blood tests, I see no direction to my treatment. I see no future when I am free from taking Prednisone. It's depressing.I am in Minnesota from August 27 to September 10th. I am in the process of signing up for blood tests weekly at the same place as before.John

Dr. Chen and her team are great at following up! It’s nice to receive calls and not wait around wondering “what’s next”. Appointments are scheduled in a timely manner. I love how efficient they are!

Dr Chen has been my oncologist for almost 10 years. She saved my life 9 years ago by curing my case of non small cell carcinoma of the left lung. She prescribed 2 chemo drugs, sysplatin and etopisode plus a regimen of radiation treatment. As a result of her treatment I have been cancer free for 9 years.my visit was great. She resolved the issue at hand ( a nodule on my right lung) and I left feeling confident that I’m in good health. Dr. Chen is thorough and extremely professional, and is great with patients. She is the best oncologist anyone could want.
